Part 5

She's not here.

Why isn't she here?

My wolf is agitated. It shows for all the humans know to stay away. All except for that one girl.

"Kyle." I take a second to decide if I want to ignore her or duck into the class room. Before I could she seems to catch up.

"Kyle! Hi. Remember me we have Chem and History together."

I turn towards her voice. I nod.

"Yeah. I kinda asked you to interview your dad and you have my sisters English class and-"

"Sister?" I cut her off. I don't remember any slightly annoying clones in my English class.

"Well not with her. More like she is your teacher." She lets out a giggle.

My mate is her sister? Damn. Now I have to be nice. I nod again. She smiles at me.

"So is today good?"

I raise my brow in question.

"The interview. Or am I just annoying you? I'm sorry. You don't want to be bother by my annoying questions and other stupid things." She turns ready to run away I believe and I quickly reach out and grab her wrist.

"Wait." I clear my throat. "Today is fine."

She turns to me with a big smile on her face. "Thank you!" She jumps up and hugs me. I stand shock for a few seconds then lift my left hand to pat her back gently.

She lets me go and runs off to class. "I will see you at lunch, Kyle!" I wave bye to her. Shaking my head at her excitement I quickly go to class.

I can't wait for this day to be over. I won't see my mate so nothing matters much.

I get home and see my best friend and future Beta, Justin. "Hey Kyle. How is the human school?"

"Fine. Annoying mostly. My mate was not there today. My wolf and I are highly upset."

"Well at least you found her." Justin has been looking for his mate just like I but he has yet to find her.

"Justin. She will come."

He nods his head while look out towards the gate. "Is that a car I hear?"

I nod as I hear the girl from class car coming down are pathway.

"Yeah. A human from school wants to interview dad. So I was going to get you to tell the Warriors training is off for today."

"Alright. Why did you agree to this?"

"Well I was being nice then I found out that she is the sister of my mate."

"Oh? Good. Maybe she can introduce you."

"I alright met my mate."

"Yes in class. Not on a personal level."

"Fine." I roll my eyes at my Beta. He is always right for some reason.

Just as he was going to the Warriors my mate's sister parks and opens the door.

"Hey Kyle!"

Justin's eyes light up and he takes a whiff of the air. He let out a hum like growl.

"Mine."

Well looks like I will be seeing more of her.

Elizabeth

After my doctor's appointment I go straight to the spa. I can't get a full body because of all the bruises Samuel left but I like to get my hands.

All the writing can cause stress in my fingers and I also like a fresh coat of dark red nail polish. Samuel only lets me wear red shades. I'm lucky my favorite color is red.

I go home and rest for the weekend my lesson plan for the week is done. I won't get to see Kyle till Tuesday because of the school schedule. I miss him.

Wait. That's your student stop thinking about him like that!

I shake my head. I just need to stay away from Nigel Kyle Raymond Jr.

"Okay class. Your essays is due on Friday and your first draft is due next class. Please remember to pick a book from any of these authors on the board. With that said enjoy your lunch."

As my third class of the day leave out it is time for lunch. Since Samuel isn't here I can order pizza for me and my sister, Stacy. She and I have the same lunch period on B day and/or second day schedule. Since I finished my online order before my last class ended, I'm just waiting for my sister to come in.

"Izzy!" I turn towards my door and smile.

"Stacy!" She runs up to me and wraps her arms around me. I flinch in pain before quickly recovering so that she wouldn't notice. She is wrapped around my ribs, that she doesn't know are bruised, and hums into my chest.

I love my little sister. She is the light of my life. Everything I do was for myself but when are father died my first year in college that all changed. My sister was only seven at the time. It was harder on her than me for her and my dad where so close.

I took a semester off to be with her and my mother but I had to go back or I would have lost my scholarship. Now eight years later my sister is back to her old self. Her being as smart as she is makes all of my hard work worth it. She is smart for a 15 year old. Already in her senior year and taking college courses. After she graduates she will be enrolled as a sophomore.

"Izzy, why weren't you at school on Friday?" She asked as she let me go from the hug.

I give her a tight smile before I pat her head affectionally. "I had a doctors appointment. I'm all good."

"Okay. Well I invited my friend to eat with us."

"What friend? The ones house you went to?"

"Yep! And...um."

"What? What happened?" I pull her to sit down in the seat next to my desk.

"Well. I met a boy." She started blushing.

"Awe. Stacy. What's his name? Does he go here? Have I met him?"

She starts laughing. "Well mom you haven't."

"Why not?"

"He goes to another school. He is Kyle's best friend."

I stop laugh with her and swallow hard. I clear my throat. "Kyle..?"

"Yes Kyle. He is my new friend."

Just as I was going to ask which Kyle the door opened and in walked Nigel jr with are pizza in hand and a bag with four soda bottles.

"There he is. Kyle this is my sister, Elizabeth aka Mrs. Lawson, and Izzy this is Kyle, my new friend."

He licked his lips before he greeted me. "Hello Elizabeth. It's nice to finally meet you."

Well shit.

I'm so sorry guys. I had an interview and I found out I'm still paying for things I shouldn't so I forgot all about the update and I apologize. Anyway I hope you are enjoying my collection and any comments and suggestions I am welcome too.

And if anyone has an idea for another short I might do it if I like it.

This Short will probably be longer than all the others but I look forward to it and I hope you do too!!!
