I scream as the glass shatters everywhere and my whole world ends, everything moving so slowly.
I scream, sitting straight up as i wake up, a newly formed and hot tear streams down my cheek as my dream from the past haunts me. I look around my small room, in this small house, in this small, wooded, town. My t.v off and my room pitch black as I lay back down and close my eyes. Everything flashes white as they shut fully, a bloody, drawn, eye shoots into my sight as I open my eyes once again, waking up, not even realising I fell asleep that fast again. It's morning and I stand up, stepping on some of my boxers that are thrown unto the ground and I get undressed, looking through my closet for some clothes to put on.
I find a blue flannel shirt and some dark blue jeans with holes in them. I put the shirt on and then the pants on with some checkered boxers underneath, grabbing my blue beanie and walking to to the bathroom. I look into the mirror, seeing myself, my blue hair, blue eyes, my skinny figure. I put my beanie on and I fix my hair, grabbing my book bag from a chair by the table and I walk out of the house. My foot hits the snow covered ground with a crisp coolness, the air cool and blunt. I pull out my fingerless gloves from my backpack and I put them on, walking down the road towards the town, a couple miles away, only road and trees ahead of me for now and I just walk.
I hear a branch snap beside me as I look into the tree line, seeing nothing, not feeling any spiritual presences and I walk alone. I eventually make it to the town and I walk to the school. Walking into the front door and having everyone around me stare at me, even though this is a small town, it's still to crowed for my taste. I walk down the white hallway silently, as I make it to my red, tall, metallic locker. I put in the combination and I open the locker, the door shaking and I grab my backpack and take it off my shoulder, as I feel someone playfully punch my shoulder and I look behind me knowing it's my bestfriend beth, for short. One of the the two people keeping me from leaving this town.
