So I was put on first shift to watch the cameras to see anyone steal oil. Jared was the cashier. A woman came into the store, bought her newspaper and left. A big rig came and out came a western looking person. He bought a pack of cigarettes and some jerky then left. Lastly, a small family came in. Bought gas for the car and some snacks for the kid probably. Then something weird happened. The same lady from before bought the same newspaper and left. Then the same big rig from before pulls up. The same western looking man gets out buys the same thing. A pack of cigarettes and jerky then leaves. I thought it was a coincidence then the same family comes. Buys gas and snacks Then leaves. I was stunned. This all happens again until closing time. I send my boss the footage. He said," Was this on repeat?" I said,"No, the family arrived at 3, 4 and 5 o'clock. On the footage you can see the sun goes down as each event happens." My boss continues,"Maybe it's a coincidence?" "Who buys 12 packs of cigarettes in one day. Who buys that much gas for one car. Who NEEDS 12 NEWSPAPERS ON BASED ON THE SAME DAY."I said. My boss explains,"Okay this doesn't answer our question though. Who is stealing our oil." He does have a point it's still weird how the same people came in the same order. Also Jared seems not to notice anything wrong he just has a blank expression on his face.
