1 ~ The Big Announcement

"Mom! Where'd my maths book go?" Cameron called out to her mum from her bedroom. "It's on the breakfast bar sweetie." Cameron's mum, Leanne, replied as she put her family's breakfast onto plates. "Breakfast's ready!" Cameron walked into the kitchen and grabbed her plate as her father and little sister, Casey joined the family. "Cammy, I need you to make sure you are home by 4 after school as your father and I need to talk to you and your sister about something." Leanne says, taking a bite out of her breakfast. "Is everything alright?" Cameron asks.
"Yes, everything is fine," Cammy's father, Dylan piped in to the conversation. HONK HONK! " Oops, that'll be Liv and Ellie. Bye mum, bye dad, bye Case." Cameron says as she kisses each family member on the cheek before picking up her school bag and heading out the door towards her two best friends, Olivia,or Liv, Condor and Ellie Marten in Liv's pink convertible. Let's just say that Liv's family is loaded! "Hey Liv, hey El!" Cameron greeted as she hopped into the backseat of Liv's car and then drove of to school.

When Liv parked at London High School, the 3 girls got out of the car and walked through the school gates. "Hey Cam, look! There's Charlie!" Ellie says as she sees Charlie Skai, Cameron's crush walking down the hall. "I don't want to talk to him! You know how he makes me feel."
"I know but—"
"Hey Cameron, can I talk to you?" Charlie says approaching the three girls. "S-sure," Cam stutters as she walks with Charlie down the halls of LHS. "So, what did you want to talk about?" Cam asks nervously.
"Well, I was wondering if you want to go out with me on Friday?" Charlie asked. "Really?" Cam says as she tries to cover her high pitched squeal. "Yeah, is 6 OK?" Charlie said.
"Yeah!" Cam said and walked back to Olivia and Ellie who looked at Cameron with the excitement evident on their faces. "What did he want?" Ellie asked. "He asked me out!"
"No. Way!"
"Ah! I'm so happy for you!"
"Thanks girls," Cameron said and then made her way to class.

At the end of the day, Cameron made a quick stop to her locker and then met Ellie and Liv at Liv's car. Getting in, Cam started humming along to the radio. In just over 15 minutes, the three girls had arrived at Cam's house to drop her off. "Thanks for the ride girls,"
"Anytime Cam," Liv said smiling.
"Just let us know about your plans for the date with Charlie ok!" Ellie exclaimed.
"Will do," Cameron said and walked inside to find her mum and dad sitting at the kitchen table deep in conversation. "Hey mum, hey dad,"
"Hello sweetie. Can you please get you sister to come down here. We're ready to talk to the two of you."
"Sure thing mum." Cameron headed upstairs to Casey's room. "Hey Case, mum and dad want to talk to us now,"
"Ok Cam." Casey gets up from her bedroom floor and follows Cam down the stairs to the kitchen table where their parents were sitting. "I'm going to get straight to the point. You guys know Uncle Evan," Leanne states, looking seriously at the two girls.
"Yeah, is he alright?" Cam asks, suddenly feeling very panicked. "He had a heart attack. And we have decided to move to Australia for a couple of years to be with and support Aunt Hannah and the rest of the family."
"Ok! When are we leaving?" Cam asked, trying to stay as calm as she could. "Friday night. I know this is late notice, but we only found out about Uncle Evan's condition two days ago." Dylan said, moving to sit beside Casey who had started to cry. "It's going to be okay pumpkin." Cameron left the table and went upstairs to call Liv and Ellie to tell them the bad news.
