"So you want to impress the straight girl huh?" Jenna asks, stirring her cup of tea. I nod.
"Jenna you are one of the people she's close to I just want to know...how to impress her" Jenna lets out a laugh, then shakes her head slightly.
"She's straight Edith, I think you need to give u-"
"No."
"Edith, you are being irrational-"
"I'm tired of everyone saying to give up, don't go with that therapist bullshit with me Jenna.." I wanted to cry then and there. Everyone told me to give up. She's straight get it through your head damn it! I heard Jenna sigh, then pull out her phone.
"The first thing you want to do is talk to her, this is her number, but text her after you leave my house." She jotted down the 10-digit number then threw it to me.
"What's next?" I grabs the pen from her hand and began to take notes.
Lessons on how to get the straight girl
A few hours past and I was pretty confident I knew how to get her to like me...or at least try.
I waved farewell to Jenna, then got in my car, driving off to my house where I would soon text Xara. When I arrived I immediately ran to my bedroom and locked the door.

X: Who is this?
Me: Edith..we have a class together
