Nialls POV
"Sam what's wrong? Did I do something?" I said while grabbing her wrist.
"Please... Please Niall let me go." Her eyes almost looked scared and she wasn't looking into my eyes anymore, she was now staring at my grip around her wrist. Those incredible green eyes had now darkened and were filled with tears. I let go of her wrist straight away.
"I'm sorry... This wasn't supposed to happen." She whispered and then ran out of the little restaurant. Leaving me alone and confused. What the hell happened? Did I do something? I must have. When I looked out of the window from the restaurant I saw that the rain had begun to fall. Poor girl she doesn't have a ride home. Hope she at least call a cab. I paid the bill and then left the restaurant.
When I got into my car and started to drive back home I couldn't help but think about Sam. Once again I thought about what could've happened to her. In a moment I thought that I maybe should try to contact April but change my mind pretty fast. She still scared the hell out of me.
When I drove by the beach I saw her. Sam was walking in the seas direction and it was still raining like hell. I can't leave her here, I already felt like crap. I parked my car in parking place and then started running after Sam. Only after a few seconds I was dripping.
When I finally got to Sam we where only a few steps to the water.
"Sam..?" I asked when I laid my hand on her tiny shoulder. I felt how she flinched under my touch. She turned her head at my direction while keeping her back at me.
"Niall. Um wha... What are you doing here?" I saw how she took a deep breath and I could clearly see how she was keeping her tears from falling. Though it wouldn't really matter that much because her make up was already a mess. Just like our clothes.
"I saw you walking here when I was driving home and... I just don't have the heart to let you walk around here alone. In the rain. At almost 4pm." I looked straight into her sad eyes.
"It's okay. It really is."
"No. It's not okay. I can see that, anyone could see that! Please Sam let me help you."
"Help? I'm perfectly fine." She stared straight into my eyes.
"No you're not. I know most people probably doesn't question your 'I'm fine' but I do. I don't know why but I care. It's something about you that makes me wanna help you and I know you need it." I took a deep breath "I have no idea what has happened to you. No matter what it is, I will help you okay."
"Why?" tears had started to fall down her face and she had now turned her whole beautiful body against me.
"I don't really know. Your eyes, they reminds me about my own. What they used to look and how they still look at times. I can help you. You just have to trust me, okay?"
She didn't move. She just stood there staring into what felt like my soul. Her eyes really did remind me about my own. Since I lost Carrie I just... I just couldn't keep myself together that much. It's been about three years now and I've started to control the pain but it still hurts. The thing was when I met Sam it just stopped. All the pain disappeared. Now seeing her like this broke my heart.
Slowly, slowly she nodded and even more tears started to fall.
"I need someone. Aprils great but she doesn't understand how it feels." In that moment I knew where her pain came from. She's lost someone. I could see myself in her eyes. The next second she walked straight into me, resting her head on my shoulder and holding my shirt with her hands. After a moment of chock I laid my left hand on her back while slowly patting her hair with my right. We just stood there for at least 10 minutes. Then I looked down at her.
"I have an apartment like 2 minutes away. We really need to get you out of those wet clothes."
"But I don't have anything else to wear." I saw a little blush forming on her cheeks.
"I have." We begun to walk to my car.
When we got out of the car Sam stopped. Her eyes where sparkling.
"You live next to the beach?" I could see the exciting in her eyes, they were now bright green. Almost shining a bit.
"Yeah pretty cool, huh?" I winked at her and she snapped her head in another direction. I couldn't help but smile. She's such a cutie.
"Yeah. Pretty cool." She almost whispered.

Sam throw herself onto my black couch.
"It's so soft." She laughed, I just laughed with her.
"Now hop into the shower I'll get you some clothes." I pointed out the bathroom to her and then went to get some clothes. I took some for myself too. Then I knocked on the bathroom door and it opened just as much as her hand could pop out from the door and grab the clothes. After about 15 minutes she came out wearing my sweatpants and a t-shirt, haha gosh they're too big. She was looking down at her feet and I could she the blush on her cheeks. When I walked past her to the bathroom I stroked her cheek and whispered:
"You look cute."
