Sold At Birth

chapter 1

Waking up this morning I was more then excited, it's my 21st birthday and my family is hosting a massive party for me, I don't usually like partys but it's my 21st my family and friends will be there.

I jumped out of bed and headed straight for my wardrobe I picked out my birthday dress I brought for today and put it on my bed I ran to the shower and started to get ready for today, I got dressed and curled my long brown hair, I didn't want to put make up on I was to excited to see my mum and dad.

I ran down stairs and in the the lounge room mum and dad were sitting there waiting along side some presents.

"Good morning mum,dad" I hugged them both and sat down next to dad, I have always had a good relationship with my parents but I always got along better with my dad, he always took me out as a child and never missed a school game and always let me do what I wanted even if my mum didn't like the sport.

"Good morning baby girl and happy 21st birthday" both mum and dad said at the same time it was always like that they have been madly in love there whole life I just wish I get a chance to experience that.

"Thank you guys is this for me you shouldn't have" I was so excited and they could definitely tell dad handed me a present and I quickly unwrapped it,inside the box was stunning silver high heals with sparkles all over them.

"There so pretty thank you" I couldn't take my eyes of them there the best pair I own so far and I do have some nice ones.

" I thought they would match your dress for tonight" mum smiled and handed me another box, I opened the box and pulled out the most gourgoues dress I have ever seen it was white with the top half covered in sparkles it was a floor length gown and had small sparkles flowing down. I absolutely loved it I couldn't have picked better myself.

"This is beautiful thank you so much guys" I kissed both my mum and dad I couldn't wait to get ready for tonight, it will be the best night of my life with my friends and family. 

"We're not done yet honey here" my dad handed me a smaller box, it was pretty light I opend this box and saw a key, not just any key a ferrari. My family is pretty wealthy but even I didn't expect this.

" are you guys serious.. yes thank you" I squealed and ran out side I saw a beautiful blue Ferrari I jumped in side and slid the key in, she started with no problems she sounded great.my parents followed me out but they looked stressed. I turned off the car and walked over to them.

"Are you guys alright" I looked from dad to mum and now both of them held smiles on their faces.

" we are fine dear. But i do apologize darling you should go up to your room, we have some guests coming and we want some surprises left." Dad smiled but I could tell it was forced.

" Alright I will just get some food and head up stairs"

I walked to the kitchen leaving my parents out side I grabed some of the left over pizza from last night and heated it up, I heard martin the buttler say to my parents in the hallway that a man called James hale and his family would be arriving any minute.

I was abit confused we didn't know anyone by that name, I thought maybe it is one of dads new business partners for the hotels, going back up to my room I still had a little while for the party so I decided I would read one of my favorite books wuthering heights. I love the story and how it is written it shows the intensity of the love that heathcliff and Catherine shared.

I got so lost in my book I didn't hear my mum knocking on the door, she let her self in and gasped when she saw me.

"What's wrong mum" I look up at mum and saw she was dressed in a elegant green dreen that flowed to the floor she had her hair in a beautiful braided bun, she looks absolutely gorgeous.

"You haven't even started getting ready have you seen the time."

I looked over to the clock to see i only had one hour untill my party starts I apologized to my mum and ran into the shower I wash my body and run out over to my mirror, I can't believe I let time slip away I started my make up and decided only a little bit will be ok I put on a sliver shimer on my eye's along with mascara, a little blush and lip gloss now to start on my hair.

It was still curly from this morning so I just redid some curls and put one of my sparkly clips my mum gave me in.

I put my beautiful dress on that my mum and dad gave me and then my shoes as I stood up to look in the mirror I smiled I loved the way this dressed lookes on me I felt amzing, mum walked in my room again this time collecting me to take me to my party.

I can't wait to see what tonight brings
