Chapter 2 - Strength or Weakness

Hey everyone :D Well sorry if it took so long I've been quite busy but now here is chapter 2 and now you will see the point of view of another character which is Chris.

"Hey guys what's up?" Chris saw his friends at the hallway. 

"Chris my man! Well we just all arrived so what's your class?" Luke asked. 

"I got Science." Chris answered. 

"Wait! we are not on the same class!" Alex raised his voice. 

"Unfortunately not so see you all later." Chris left. 

Chris went to his class and sat to the second chair at the side of the front row the teacher also arrived and Chris knows who it is. 

"Wait is that Mr. Conwell" Chris said at his mind and quite shock that his science teacher is Mr. Conwell. 

"Oh Mr. Conwell we are on the same class." Chris greeted him.

"Mr. Jacob nice to meet you here." Mr. Conwell greeted him back. "be seated we are going to start." He added.

"Class some of you might not know me but I am Mr. Mark Conwell and I will be your Science teacher..." Mr. Conwell is still introducing himself when suddenly Thomas arrived with Ethan. 

"Mr. Conwell... Hey!" Thomas greeted. 

"It is our very first day for our class then you arrived late... What a classic Mr. Leann." Mr. Conwell just smiled at Thomas.

"Sorry, Mr. Conwell." Thomas apologized. "Oh by the way everyone I would like you to meet our new classmate, Ethan." Thomas added.

"Well thank you Mr. Leann for doing my job but let the new student introduced himself while you take a sit already you will be forgiven today." Mr. Conwell said.

When Chris saw Thomas entering the room he is already shocked that they are on the same class at the same time Chris noticed that the only vacant seat is the chair beside him. 

"Uh oh me and Thomas are on the same class. This sucks, What will my friends  tell me if they found this out and at the same time what will they say about me if they found out we are seatmates." Chris is really bothered. 

"Ugh, I hate to do this, Oh man! is this serious we are on the same class and you are going to sit beside me." Chris started being mean to Thomas.

"Oh come on Chris, Do you think I have a choice." Thomas said. "Well Ethan is new here and I don't want you to influence him with anything so I don't have any choice to sacrifice myself and let Ethan go to the chair that is quite far with you." Thomas added.

"Don't deny it Thomas, I know you just want to sit beside me." Chris teased. 

"Say whatever you want Chris, I'm here to learn." Thomas said it in a sassy way.

"Ugh do this guy know how hard it is not to be too close to him and also be close to him. I was once his friend but  ever since he came out I can't go near him because I know my friends would hate me, I'm really sorry Thomas, But I honestly miss you."  Chris keeps on controlling his emotions by saying mean and rude things to Thomas. 

"Mr. Leann and Mr. Jacob please the both of you stop arguing do your business later!" Mr. Conwell commanded. "Okay, Ethan introduce yourself."

"I'm Ethan Marcus Meyer. from Nashville, Tennessee then I moved in here to Champaign, Illinois just this month. I'm not just the new kid at the new school but also the new kid in town." Ethan said. 

While Ethan is introducing Chris noticed that Thomas is looking at him and looks daydreaming about Ethan. 

"Wait, is he crushing with Ethan... Is he serious I got better looks than him."  Chris was irritated. "Oh so he is your boyfriend." Chris said that cause Thomas from snapping out.

"No, Do you even get out of your house, Ethan is our neighbor." Thomas said. 

Chris is shocked that his new classmate is their neighbor. "Wait, he is Ms. Dawson's son?" 

"Yep but please don't be rude to ask why they both have different surnames." Thomas said. 

"Don't worry I'll put an exemption to this, just don't tell my friends." Chris said.

"Then we have a deal!" Thomas said. 

*At the afternoon*

The Destroyer see each other outside the school. 

"Hey everyone! Sorry I can't stay to long right now I need to go home early." Chris said.

"Woah! what happened to you Chris?" Justin asked. 

"Chris, You never go home early." Ryan said.

"Are you still the Chris Anthony Jacob that we know?" Alex asked.

"Come on guys! I also go home early before I just need to go home. I don't feel well." Chris left after that.

"I do have a feeling somethings wrong with Chris." Luke said. "We better find out, Remember we never let each other down." 

Chris went straight home and he greeted his mom, 

"Mom! I'm home!" Chris shouted. 

"Hi Chris! how is your day?" His mom asked. 

"Well nothings new except that Ms. Dawson's son is my classmate." Chris said.

"Well good you can have a new friend and that's also awesome because you, Thomas and Ethan are not just classmates but also neighbors." Mrs. Jacob smiled.

"Yeah mom, but I'm good with my friends." Chris exhaled.

"Well if that's what you want. Although I still believe you need someone to influence you to do good. Remember your grades son. If you still want to continue to study here you need to continue to have a nice grade for your scholarship." Mrs. Jacob said. 

"Yeah mom, I understand." Jacob frowned. "But anyway thanks for letting me continue here." 

"Son we might have problem here when it comes to money but I know we can still survive this. Your dad might not want you here anymore but I am full support on you." Mrs. Jacob smiled and hugged Chris. 

A few minutes later the mother of Chris went to work.

"I hope I can help my mom she is currently working at 3 jobs for just to support us."  Chris whispered to himself. Then suddenly he heard a knock from his door.

"Chris! Chris! Open the Door!" Thomas shouting and knocking very loud.

"Wait! I'll open it just don't break our door." Chris said when he opened the door he is shock to see Thomas soaking wet and mud all over him. "Woah What happened!!!?"

"Are you serious you are the one who is asking what did just happen to me?! I hope you are happy now! Why don't you guys just for a while just please give me a break even just for a day..." Thomas is still talking until Chris kissed him. 

after a few seconds Chris break the kiss. 

"Why... Did... You...Do... That?" Thomas asked while stuttering.
