Mickey and I were walking home from school, and I was just so upset about Austin.
The girl was obviously prettier than me, but that doesn't mean he should've just kissed her in front of me.

"Hey, are you even listening to me?" Mickey waved her hand in front of my face.
"What? Yeah," I lied.
"What'd I say?" Mickey asked, hands on her hips.
"I.. uhh... I wasn't listening. I'm sorry! I just.. I have a lot to think about," I sighed.
She put her hand on my shoulder, "then tell me, Audrey. I'm your best friend, you can tell me anything you want to."
"Okay... I have a crush on this guy in school. His name is Austin-" I was cut off.
"Austin?! You can't go for him! Natalie will kill you!" Mickey stopped walking and looked at me dead in the eyes. "I'm serious."
"Who's Natalie?" I asked, curious.
"His ex-girlfriend! She still thinks they're dating, but it's clearly over," Mickey said.
"That must've been the girl who kissed him in the hallway today," I sighed once more.
"You can't mess with her, she's bad news, Audrey," Mickayla looked really serious.
"Okay, I won't. Let's just get ready for the bowling party tonight, okay?"
We continued to walk home, with a bunch of thoughts blurring around in my mind.
