Kai's POV

Who am I? All I can hear is a consistent beeping, a piercing coldness in the air. All I can feel is a sharp pain in my jaw... it will probably go away...
But as I opened my eyes, I see people surrounding me, their curious eyes feeding off the sight of me. They all smile as I observe each one of them. An unfamiliar sound, perhaps a name is all I could hear. "Kai..."
Kai? They can't be talking about me..
I'm so confused, all I can feel now is a painful feeling taking over my body, a sharp pain that prevents me from understanding. What's going on?..
