"Maya I said stop,"Lucas said

She pushed him off.

"What the hell Lucas!"she yelled very angry.

Lucas smiled.

"I just wanted you to know I was serious. Plus it's not the first time I grabbed your face and pulled it really close to mines,"Lucas shrugged.

He remembered that one time in Texas.

Maya growled.

"Go back to your class Lucas. The ally is my spot to be alone,"Maya spat.

Lucas stood still.

"Do you know the definition of 'alone',"Maya said getting frustrated.

Lucas won't stop when his friends need help

Maya remembered Zay say these words before.

She got a plan.

*Maya's POV*

He won't leave me alone until he thinks he has helped me I thought.

I knelt down and pretended to groan.

"Water,"I said in my best raspy voice.

"I'll get you water stay here,"and he ran out.

"Amateur,"I mutter.

I ran to the dead end of the ally and climbed the garage can.

Bouncing over the wall I landed on a unknown backyard.

"I'm sure they won't mind,"I muttered.

Maya made sure to step around the pool and open the gate of the side .

"Maya?"said a voice.

Maya froze and slowly turned around.

"Kyle,"she said in surprise.

Kyle Stern was part of the baseball team and the most popular kid on school. More of a bad boy.

"What are you doing here. In my backyard."he asked.

"Aren't you suppose to at school?"Maya asked.

Kyle smirked.

"We go to the same school and you're not in it either."

Maya ignored Kyle and went through the gate.

"Why are you out of breath,"he asked.

Maya still said nothing.

"Maya are hiding from someone,"Kyle asked.

"Yes,"Maya said walking toward the front lawn.

"The cops?"he guessed.

Maya rolled her eyes.

"Because if you are there better be a god damn reward,"Kyle stated.

"I'm not running from the cops and don't you ever shut up!"Maya growled.

"Feisty. Ya know I never noticed how hot you are until now,"Kyle said checking her out.

She shivered in disgust.

"But you're not my type,"he sighed sadly.

"Good,"Maya sigh in relief.

Maya reached the front gate but she heard a voice in a faint distance.
