Random Story #1 The Order

A few days ago...
HedfonFrek The Hedgehog, Veteran Of Chaotic - or just Hed for short - was relaxing and listening to music when received a phone call from Remiko The Cat, who joined the Chaotics a month ago. Hed is a tallish orange hedgehog, with pointy ears and quills, yet the quills are covered with a white fur layer, dyed by Remie a couple of months ago, and his ears are blue on the top, in which he felt they fitted his quills. His eyes are sky blue, and goes perfectly with his pair of blue Addir trainers. They were the finest of the finest in Exsapto, so he never complained about them. On both sides of his arms lies the Chatixs - how they named a device as powerful as ones that superheroes wear - emerald green and yellow. Despite their unfitness with his look, they are actually powerful for a Veteran, thanks to his skill as a technician.
He yawned when he picked up the phone, and hear a semi-squeaky voice on the line.
"Uh... Hed? Can you modify my device for me? Others look so damn cool..."
"Who the hell is this? I demand to know!" Hed angrily said, and he looked like he was going to hang up Remiko.
At the other side of the line, Remiko was somewhat - rather not somewhat, but completely - embarrassed, her tone became lower, and eventually, her first words were really hard to be heard...
"Oh, how rude am I...? Heh, I'm sorry, this is Remiko The Cat speaking"
"Ugh...Rookies...can't they just leave me alone..?" Hed murmured.
"I'm sorry, am I bothering you?"
"Not at all, it's just that I had so many requests recently, but I'll take this one as the final one. So, what's the sketch?"
"My tracking device... I saw some of the members can teleport with it-"
Hed immediately interrupt her "That"s for Learned Members. Just let them be. I can do that for ya, but why would you need that? I mean, you're a Rookie, you are still learning, yet you are just very naughty, can't trust you"
"Oh please.... I beg you, I just wanted to try it..."
What's complicated here is the fact that each 'device' has an identified code, so Remiko just cannot borrow it from others... This made him think a lot
"Hmmm..."
Hed thought for a while, and he hung up Remiko after five minutes of thinking. Thought that was over, he went to his kitchen to grab a sandwich a couple of minutes later, yet, instead of grabbing his sandwich, he found that Remiko was standing in the kitchen. Since when, he asked himself, that she appeared? Such speed...like Sonic...
"What the hell are you doing in my house?" He asked, raising his finger pointing towards the door, signing Remiko to leave. Silence. Completely, in a few minutes. He felt annoyed, just like anyone whoever waits impatiently for the late-coming bus. Yet, he tried his very best, not to express any kind of emotions that show his annoyance towards this very sudden event.
"I'm sorry, I should have gone through the front door... Helly told me that I can find you here, so I ran as fast as possible to reach here..."
Helly is Hed and Twill's - Twill The Hedgehog - daughter, who is also a member of Chaotic, but at a rank of Controller, which enables her almost every privilege, similar to Veteran. She is the only one who can convince either Hed or Twill to let Rookies have certain modifications on their devices.
Not this case, though.
"Ugh... Better demote Helly, cannot let this happen anymore..." murmured the hedgehog, turning his face towards the cat.
Remiko is a white cat, but this is a cream-white cat, looking gorgeous with her yellow shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. Her ears are a little bit small, yet fit her smallish look. Her long, fluffy tail always make people feel like touching it, in a sense of grabbing it. What's more, nearly every dress she wears always makes people see that she's absolutely beautiful, like a white angel. However, she has not been able to get herself a half of her life, not because her personality, but the way she chooses men. She doesn't like those who brag themselves, speak loudly, or any kind of personality that is abnormal.. She favors Hed though, because, according to Twill, he's special in a way that the rest has none existed the same way. He may be shy. He may be crazy in a way - of course, most boys are. But he never goes hype, in a sense that he never do trendy things,
"Fine,ok? Now leave me alone. I'll contact you when I'm done, goddamnit..."
The cat looked awkwardly, not knowing what to say. "Ok, thanks" was the reply, her tone was rather low, and she left the room, quickly, leaving her device on the counter. On the other hand, Hed was feeling guilty, thinking that his words were rather harsh. He thought, maybe he could say sorry to Remiko, but she has already left before he even thought of saying sorry...
The orange hedgehog grabbed his sandwich and returned to his room. At the same time, Helly got back home, and Hed noticed it via her pink blouse and white skirt combining with her purple fur. Although it was sunset, he could still tell her appearance. Similar to his wife: purplish fur, beautiful eyes, and Helly's ears are cat-alike. Middle-aged, around...twenty? Twenty four? Despite the age, she looks like she was way younger than that, and it makes her famous among the Chaotic men... On the other hand, for some reason, Hed barely asked himself why Twill would have cat-like ears... But he never minded that, taking that for granted, and never actually asked her.
"Helly?"
Helly noticed her father's voice, quickly replied with a "yes?" and came upstairs and to Hed's room
"Father, what's wrong?"
"Did you just recommend Remiko to come here?"
"Yes...? Am I disturbing you?"
"A little bit, I suppose. Too many orders at the same time Remiko called, gotta shut down for now. Record though, 12?"
Helly thought Hed was going to shout at her. Or said with a loud tone. Instead, he said with his normal tone, yet made her feel guilt for letting her father in such trouble.
"I'm sorry. So, when are you available?"
"I'll tell you when I feel like it's ok to resume."
"Ok, I understand. Is Mom home?"
Helly looked around for a while for a sign of Twill. No sign. From the hallway, up to the final floor, she didn't see even a slightest sign of her. She then looked back at her father
"No..sorry. Haven't seen her all day. I'm stayin' inside, remember?"
Hed said as he finished his sandwich, then grabbed his glass of water, filled the glass and drank it.
"Uh..yeah... I was going to ask her to help me with my hair, since I know that you can't help me with it."
"Heh, sorry. 'Scuse me." Hed quickly left the room, realized that he forgot Remiko's device on the table, then came back to his room "Forgot the device. Say, do you think it's inappropriate to cuss in front of a customer?"
"I think it is, making the customer feel that you're somewhat unfriendly... Did you?"
"Yeah, in front of Remiko"
"Touché, she was a big fan of yours. She didn't, doesn't and will not like cussing..."
"I know... I feel bad about it, you know.... Lost respect. Well, better go back to work. See you later in dinner, Helly"
"Okay"

A few days later...
"Heh," said the orange hedgehog, with a grin on his face "Done"
He then called Remiko to get the device. Her sound showed that she was sleepy, saying at the same time she yawned.
"Sooner than I expected tho. So how does it work now?"
"Come to my place, Remiko, I'll explain"
"O-okaaayyyyy..."
A few hours later, Remiko came to Hed's, looking as if she was just from Easter back.
"Hey"
"Hed...so...um...it's done?"
"Yeah, same ol' kind. I just only upgraded the parts a bit and added this" Hed said as he put the device on Remiko's hand
"See that little button there? I'd say, for such kind of devices like this, this button will help you a lot. Yet, undoubtedly, it comes with a price. No, not money." He continued saying as Remiko put back the money into her pocket
"Then what is the risk? And how does that button work?"
"Well, I've been thinking about that lately, and I'll say that a lot of risks. Not too vital, but significant enough to notice. So this button here allows you to travel to places you are tracking on map instantly, but as you may know, the main risk affects directly on you. All the molecules that created you, physically, need to be at that place and the place you'll go to at nearly the exact same time... Therefore, your body, after a long time of usage, will be different
"It's not accurate either. When you are tracking down a running enemy, no maps will be able to show you the exact location, so using that button will be a damn waste. I'm trying to minimize the body-changing factor, but it seems that it cannot be completely eliminated" said Hed with a sigh
Remiko rapidly nodded her head, as if she had truly understood the entire thing that Hed said.
"Hed... So, that means that I shouldn't abuse it? That's what you wanna say?"
"For someone always go hype when experiencing new devices like you, I'd say yes. After all, you are the Chaotic Rookie, and I'm the Veteran, so I had better help you"
"Uh..thanks. I'll be careful with this"
"Glad to help. No" Hed refused to take the money while Remiko was pulling some out "I'll do it this time, for free. After all..."
"After all..?"
"I cussed"
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
"What do you mean?"
Hed was completely confused. He was going to say something, but then, he closed his mouth quickly. Remiko tried to remember what happened days ago, and suddenly she said
"Ah, if you talked why I left early, it's because I felt horrible for going into your house like that."
"O-oh..."
"Still, thanks for the upgrade" and she smiled. Her smile, in some way, made him feel relieved, yet resemble of his own wife, who had nearly the same smile as Remiko at that moment... He smiled back, and with a quick reply "no problem", he went back into the house, and stupidly thought about that moment of misunderstanding.
