Random #2 The Capture

Yesterday...
HedfonFrek The Hedgehog, with a request from Sonic The Hedgehog to capture and banish Metal Sonic - who was found in Mobius, went to an abandoned storage near Bunnie and Antonie D'Coolette's house, where the last sight of Metal Sonic was founded... It was just newly built, planning to be a training area for the Mobians.
As he entered the storage, he noticed that it was too empty. There wasn't anything in there at all. Only a spacious area inside this metal storage. Since Metal's rampage, all equipments inside had been removed. A spacious area, a broken window at the back, and the quietness in this storage made Hed somewhat felt something was abnormal. Usually, Hed would feel relaxed, comfortable in the quietness, even in the battlefield. But he was not relaxed at all at that very space. His opponent was not any sort of commoner, he was not easy to be defeated, and he had caused many disastrous events, created chaos in both worlds, in which Hed had witnessed a part of mayhem he caused. He was Metal Sonic.
"Well, if it isn't Hed... This unit have been expecting you..." A strange figure appeared from nowhere, spoke with a creepy, robotic voice, made the orange hedgehog somewhat frightened a little, yet Hed's courage remained strong.
"Who are you? Show yourself now!" Hed demanded, closed the door, then looked up at the ceiling, to find himself unable to find any track of the sound.
"HedfonFrek The Hedgehog, it's nice to see you again." The figure jumped down in front of him, removing his hood, and revealed his blue, metal-like head, with two red eyes looking straight at Hed...
It was Metal Sonic. This robot has a height and shape nearly the same as Sonic The Hedgehog's, yet he has mechanically red eyes. He is made in titanium, with a turbo engine as his body in order to gain the same speed as Sonic The Hedgehog, the hero of Mobius. Hence the name Metal Sonic. Hed, or HedfonFrek The Hedgehog, is a orange hedgehog, looking similar to Sonic, but with more quills on his head, and on top of that, he has a white layer of fur. It isn't because he's old; he's 32, but because he dyed it.
"Hmph," the hedgehog smirked "Metal Sonic. It is sure nice to see you for the last time of your presence here. You have been charged for murder, robbery, vandalism and burgary. You shall be banished to the Other World!"
"Processing Memories... Accessing Database... Synchronizing... Results: False. This unit did not murder anyone, nor caused any kind of chaos that you mentioned... They have lied to you"
"Then, who killed The Foxes? I saw it with my own eyes, a blue, metal body, with a Chaos Emerald installed on the core of the body! You want to make me believe that was a copy of you?"
The Foxes was among the best teams in the entire planet of Exsapto - where Hed lives, (close to being as strong as the Chaotics) yet it was a tragic when seeing them being killed. Hed was the only one who witness the entire murder, and it was shown in the security cameras. They fought back, but none was able to defeat Metal Sonic, none at all. And what he had seen was what he was claiming at that very moment.
"Dr. Eggman can create an army of Metal Sonic. Yet there can only exist one Metal Sonic with a Chaos Emerald. And that robot is standing in front of me, as the rest had been demolished." he continued, pointing the gun at Metal.
"Data Entry... Subject's memory has been provided with top secret information. Very well. Initiating... Installing movements... Installation complete."
Hed started to shoot at Metal, but unfortunately, none of the bullets hit the robot, and as he drew out his machine guns, Metal started to use the Chaos Emerald - the strongest emerald that has ever existed - to move around Hed in a way that Hed couldn't be able to tell where Metal would hit next.
"Subject's ability to endure: Unknown. Continue attacking the subject"
Eventually, Hed couldn't be able to make another shot, and he fell down to the ground, felt hurt from the aggressive, powerful hits; it was so painful that he couldn't be able to stand up. His shoulders were bleeding, he was coughing out blood. His legs were close to be broken, his head was severely hurt. He was crawling as he tried to speak.
"Ugh... Goddamnit... Metal... You bastard..."
Metal Sonic now transported himself right in front of Hed, raising his right leg to smash Hed's head, but the orange hedgehog quickly dodged it, then he stood up, pulled out his own gun, shot at the robot. Yet, how unfortunate for Hed, as that bullet hit the Emerald, not any other part of the body; therefore, left Metal unharmed. He could have grabbed Metal Sonic, transport both him and Metal to the very End Of The World One, a place lies on the deepest part of Exsapto, to banish Metal to Other World, but he was unable to do that, as his strengh was almost got depleted.
"All is too clear, Metal." Hed said, trying to convince Metal "You have committed far too many crimes.... Millions of dollars had been stolen to Dr. Eggman; hundred of lives had lost; many counties had faced destruction... Banishing you is the only way, and that Chaos Emerald... shall be mine for the taking"
"This unit shall destroy you, and you cannot destroy this unit, nor this unit's memory. However, yours will be destroyed, immedia- gah" Metal spoke, raising his hands as Hed used that opportunity to shoot at Metal's head. It did not miss, fortunately; yet, it didn't completely shut down Metal. The Chaos Emerald shone, and Metal shot a beam from his hand - an upgrade recently made from Dr. Eggman in order to stop the Chaotics, where HedfonFrek The Hedgehog (Hed) is the co-leader. Hed dodged it, but he got hurt, once more, from collision. The dodge made him hit the corner of the room, and Hed was injured so bad that he could barely move
Metal Sonic slowly walked towards Hed, as if he was lengthening Hed's life, as if he was mocking Hed for being so weak. Hed was just lying there, unable to move a inch. Like any superhero-related movie, the villain comes close to the hero, saying "Any last word?" then a twist of the story would happen.
However, in this case, after Metal's words, Hed had no supporters nearby nor anyone to call help at that very moment. All Mobians had already been moved upon Metal Sonic's arrival, and although only the very original Freedom Fighters - which consists of Sonic The Hedgehog, Miles 'Tails' Prowler, Sally Acorn and Antonie D'Coolette and Rotor Walrus - stayed, they were unable to destroy Metal Sonic. Tails's inventions weren't strong enough to defeat the Metal Sonic 13.4.9, a version slightly weaker than the current Metal Sonic that was fighting Hed, but with no Chaos Emerald.
Actually, it was lucky of Sonic to be a member of Chaotic's sub-team for a short time, so he knew the main members of the entire group. Additionally, when he requested for the cooperation between two groups: the Chaotics and the Freedom Fighters, Reminios The Dark (a cat, as a matter of fact, but he is a black cat, hence the word Dark at the end) accepted; therefore allowed two worlds: Exsapto - Hed's world - and Mobius - Sonic's - to let people travel through two worlds freely. That was the reason for Sonic's request to be accepted.
Back at that storage.
Hed was going to die. And he could barely figure out anything to stop Metal.
Outside, it was going to rain. Thunder storms were raging, thunder bolts were tearing up the sky. Hed then was like any fallen soldier: his body was completely motionless, his hope for a rescue, for a twist in that very life-or-death situation was completely slim. He could have called for help, but his Chaotic Device got malfunctioned after series of hits from Metal... What he could only think was death, was the destruction of Mobius, or worse, Exsapto... What about his wife, his daughter, everyone in the entire planet? They would be killed, both worlds then would fall into Eggman's domination... It was not like he felt that the best of Chaotics cannot defeat Metal, but with Metal's current tactic of fighting, he felt that Metal could easily knock out Chaotics... The entire world was crashing down to him as he felt weaker and weaker, and eventually, he closed his eyes, waiting for his death to arrive...
"That's enough, Metal Sonic" a voice said, echoing in his head. Yet, he remained his state, left Metal unable to scan any scent of life in him. And in the end, Hed fell asleep...
"Fall into Hell, HedfonFrek The Hedgehog. This unit has won" Metal said as he finished scanning him
"Killing him? You ended up killing him?" the voice said, flew closer to Metal. He was a egg-shaped man, with a head that would create an 8 when combined with his body. Hence the name Eggman, Dr. Eggman, to be precise.
"This unit's function as of the final version is assaulting. So far, this unit has successfully killed -"
"Stop, Metal. Stop" Eggman said, entering the storage
The torrential rain was pouring outside, making Eggman soaked wet and his whatever machines he brought with him got malfunctioned. He walked towards the dead hedgehog, examine him for a while, then turned to talk to Metal
"I'll take care of him. You, go back to my base. I'll meet you there"
"Very well, Doctor. This unit shall meet you there" and the robot disappeared.
The storage then only remained Dr. Eggman and the fallen HedfonFrek The Hedgehog.
Eggman sat down, examined Hed. He was not actually believed that the orange hedgehog was dead, because Hed was one of the strongest member in Chaotics, and he knew that in order to defeat him, the opponent must possess an enormous power, and ability to analyze his movements to the slightest.
And Metal Sonic knocked him out.
Somewhat in Eggman felt proud, because he had created the strongest machine that had defeated the very best of the Chaotics. But a part of him was afraid. He afraid that Metal would be the one who would take over his reign of domination. He afraid that the Eggland plan he had always dreamt of would be a failure, when Metal Sonic was still far from being beaten.
He was scared, more than when Sonic broke him.
He felt like he need to do something to stop Metal Sonic, but what could he do?
The only Chaos Emerald he could find has already been equipped to Metal. The six rest, he wouldn't dare to find and equip to another robot. What if, he thought to himself, they would betray him, as Metal somewhat had already done. Metal Sonic had done what Eggman had never ordered - and never will - that was killing people. Killing even those that didn't cause Eggman an inch of problem. Stealing, vandalize things that he never needed or intended to. He wanted to build a reign of domination, but how meaningless it would be when there was no one, not a single Mobian, was around, he felt to himself.
As he looked at the fallen orange hedgehog, as the torrential rain had no sign of ending, he suddenly heard a beep. It was from Hed's device.
"Hed, Hed, are you in? This is Reminios. Answer me!"
Eggman then looked at the device. It was equipped to Hed's left arm, and got broken a little due to Metal's assault, but how fortunate, it was still functional, not as malfunctioned as Hed had thought.
"Hello? Anyone there? Answer me!"
Eggman was going to answer, but he was afraid. He never felt that afraid before... 'Will they believe me?' he asked to himself. After all, he had, has and always will be a villain to their eyes... Yet, he still decided to take the risk, and answered Reminios.
"Dr. Eggman speaking. Hed lost. Metal Sonic won"
"You bastard" Reminios said, and Eggman knew his fears were correct
"What have you done to him?"
"Not me. Metal did. I did nothing, until the end. I arrived when all had happened."
"But YOU created him" At the other side of the line, Reminios looked calm, but although he tried not to be angry, he could not stay calm. It was utterly bothersome for him to hear news from the villain, because he knew that they - the Chaotics - had lost.
"Yes, but I cannot decode what I have coded for him. Even myself until now had never believed that my own robot would eventually betray me, as if it is taking orders from someone else"
Reminios sighed, finally be able to calm down.
"Hm. Assume that is the case. Where's Hed?"
"The fallen hedgehog is right here, right beside me."
"Fallen? He's not. 3 percent is not dead"
'3 percent? What did I just heard?' he asked himself. And not dead?
"What?" he asked again to make sure he wasn't hearing anything wrong.
"3 percent"
"Of what?"
"His life. Never mind, turn the device a pi"
Turn the device a pi... Eggman looked at the device confusingly, unknowingly which side to turn. Finally, when he turned it to the left a pi (radian, Reminios meant, and Eggman got that right), a box fell out of it, and as it got cracked open from the falling, he saw a card. Very small card, to be precise, with a picture of a heart. At first, he thought it was a joke, putting a picture inside the device, but as he asked Reminios further, he acknowledged that it was a resurrection card, yet he was unable to find a slot to put it in, when Reminios told him to put the picture on the device.
He continued examining the device, and when he touched it, a space opened wide, and the space was exactly fit the picture. Putting the picture into that slot, he stood up, moved backwards.
White light sparked around him, just like any sort of magic one can see in a fairy tale, or pure miracle in those tales. But that wasn't any tale. Eggman knew. It was real. Happening right in front of him.
For Hed, every inch of injuries and pain got recovered, back to one complete piece. From a dead-like Veteran of Chaotics, he had been resurrected back to himself, not being any younger form. Despite that, his device remained the same state. He picked up the broken box, mumbled to himself that he needed to fix this, and put it back to his device.
"Welcome back, Hed" Reminios said, and at Reminios's, everyone was cheering, and the entire area there, for Eggman, seemed like they were going to have a party, according the exclaiming voice of Twill, Hed's wife.
"Reminios... 3 eh? Closer than last time. Heh, I wouldn't dare to try that again. And I didn't think it would be this functional, seriously" And laughters were bursted loudly over there. Hed is actually someone who risked a lot of times for his life, sometimes even pulled himself down to nearly zero, yet he still got resurrected normally. He had already tested, absolute zero percent would not allow him to revive.
Then again, Eggman was shocked.
"Better thanks Eggman." said the cat with a unwilling voice, but he had to accept that fact.
"Eggman?" Hed looked at Eggman, who looked back at him awkwardly.
"Yes. I'm here, with no intentions of harming you any further."
"Thank you"
"You're welcome. In trade, I need to ask: Is this a game?"
"No. I'll explain this for you, in another trade, you'll have to give me the blueprint of the creation of Metal Sonic"
"Fine"
Although it had been a long time since the storm started, it was still ongoing, and the roads, then the houses got heavily flooded, as if Metal was also controlling the flood in order to completely eliminate the rivals whoever remained on the land of Metropolis, Mobius.
The storage was not an exception.
Hed was going to talk when the storm started to flood the storage, which made both the hedgehog and Eggman felt unsafe. So they went back to Hed's place. Twill and Helly, Hed's wife and daughter, were sitting at the living room when Hed and Eggman arrived. They quickly went upstairs, leaving Hed with Eggman. As they sat down on the armchairs, Hed began to speak.
"So. Here we are, pondering why I could resurrect, why it all sounded as if I'm in a game and Metal is the final boss. No. It is not, as to clarify, so cut that out of your mind.
"For the resurrecting part, I figured that out with Reko The Fox, a friend of mine. I wouldn't say that it's a bad idea. But, to maintain the entire resurrecting thing, I needed a lot of effort creating the best revival method. And there I found, as you may know, the picture. Not any ancient thing, so rest assure."
Hed said as he raised a picture of a heart for Eggman. It was tiny, like, a tenth of a 3x4 picture.
"But to make it work... " he continued "I had to use a drop of my blood, so it can identify things that is necessary for the resurrect. Like, type of blood, DNA... heh. And also, there is a chipboard inside this picture to let the device able to work this and revive me."
"I see. Well...that was, uh, complicated. But never mind, I will get that. So, the blueprint. I don't have it here, but I can tell you that it is not the way you build it, but the way you code it. Metal had betrayed me, doing things I never want to happen. I don't want you guys to follow my track... You don't need the blueprint."
"Very well. Okay, that concludes our meeting here. Never wanted to say thanks to the nemesis, but to
be honest, thank you for resurrecting me."
"My pleasure"
Hed went upstair after Eggman had gone, and sat down with Twill and Helly.
"What's up with you, Hed? That sort of task... You made me worried!" Twill said, hugged her husband tight.

"Geez, at least I'm alive now. Last time I underestimated Metal too much, now, I need to prepare carefully to have a chance of winning. Helly," he said, looked at Helly
And then, after a few more hours of preparation, Hed was ready to go and banish Metal Sonic. He brought with him an Anti-Chaos, which was installed on his fixed Chaotic Device. It would deflect Metal's ability to use powers that need the Chaos Emerald. He figured that out when he was examined the potential power of the Emerald. He borrowed Shadow's shoes to gain the same pace as Metal, and a jetpack that allowed him to fly, gaining the advantage. Those were his addition to the last time, to ensure that Hed cannot be lost this time. He didn't want to ask for reinforcement, because after all, he wanted to revenge, he wanted to banish Metal Sonic on his own.
Hed went back to Metropolis, and he was shocked at the sight in front of him. The entire city was flooded heavy, although the storm had already ended a while ago. He wondered where the others were while searching for Metal, yet he only found some other robots that was created by Eggman. He knocked them out easily.
The sky soon turned dark, as the sun started to go down... This made Hed harder to find Metal and required him to be very cautious...
Meanwhile... Metal Sonic, after hearing that Hed was alive, killed Dr. Eggman and went to find the orange hedgehog. He didn't think that Eggman would do such thing, as he usually think he had to do evil tricks. But not all the time he was completely evil. When Sonic The Hedgehog died under the hands of Mephiles The Dark (for this case, he is usually known as a form of shadow that can move around the enemy just like Metal), Eggman, although he didn't do any actual actions, suggested that Sonic could be revived when all seven Chaos Emeralds were found. And Sonic did revived. And him, Silver The Hedgehog and Shadow The Hedgehog later were able to defeat Solaris using the Chaos Emeralds.
Back to Metropoles...Neithet couldn't be able to find each other, until...
"Chaos Barrier, activate!"
Metal turned around and saw a figure, unable to identify who that was. Yet, he felt weaker and weaker, and he did not know why.
"Chaos Emerald, lend me your power. Consume all energy into the Barrier!"
Metal flew opposite the direction of the echoed voice, trying to find the speaker. As he was flying, he realized that the Chaos Emerald's color turmed to dark grey, a color indicates that the power of the Emerald has gone. Yet, he still continued searching, and eventually found... Hed.
"HedfonFrek The Hedgehog, this unit shall crush your body into pieces." he said, trying to do what he did last time, but failed
Hed realized this as he glanced at the Chaos Emerald that his machine had worked perfectly. It was actually him who called the barrier.
Metal, unable to move suprisingly anymore, head straight to Hed, planning to punch him directly, but failed again, with Hed's dodge. At the same time, Hed pulled out his laser rifle and shoot at Metal's head, which again, worked perfectly. For Metal, the Hail Mary he could figure out was the beam, but since his Chaos Emerald did not work anymore, it was meaningless to do that. At last, when Metal had been weaken and malfunctioned due to the shots, Hed transported him to the End Of The World One and when he was ready to banish Metal, he removed the Chaos Emerald out of Metal Sonic's body, and opened the portal to the Other World...
"THIS UNIT SHAAALLL BEE BAACCKK, HEDDDFFFOONNNFFRREEKK-"
The malfunctioned robot said. Although it was quite hard to hear, but Hed knew and shoot the beam at the head to shut it down. What Metal wanted to say was similar to any villain that was sentenced, but instead of years, he was banished to the Other World. This world is actually another dimension, where Metal would only suffer pain, horror and he would be unable to harm anything anymore. That is, given that Metal Sonic was still functional.
"Yeah right." said the orange hedgehog, opened the portal and threw Metal into it. "There you go. Banishment to the Other World"
And after everything was done, he walked away, closing the portal, and he thought to himself, maybe he would get a sandwich afterwards.
