10th November ...My room.
Um...
What just happened?
WHAT JUST HAPPENED?
WHAT JUST FRIKKIN' HAPPENED?!!!
Breathe, breathe, breaaaaathe.
I can't believe Kevin just-
And i just-
This is NOT happening. It's probably a dream, and I'm going to wake up any minute now.
I'M NOT WAKING UP! Okay, so it's real.
So, we'd closed from school. I was like..soo tired. I had such an eventful first day. I was just gonna go home, sleep, and not worry about anything else.
As if that's ever possible.
I didn't join Rene's ride because my mom told me she was gonna pick me up, then we'd go for chicken.
I LOVE CHICKEN.
But she kept too long so I called her on a payphone
"Mom, hey. When are you getting here?" I asked.
"Oh my God, I forgot, sweetie I'm sorry but I'm really tied down at work today. You can take the bus or something. But I promise I'll get the chicken on my way home."
"What? Mom? I have to wait an hour to get another bu-"
She cut me off
"Sorry, I have to go." Then she hung up.
Ugh, how frustrating. ONE HOUR! So I just sat on a bench which was nearby and started reading a book. It was better than doing nothing.
Suddenly, someone parked a car in front of me. I didn't look up but I thought it was just my mom pranking me.
"Finally. You're he-"
I looked up only to see Kevin, DRIVING. Okay, no biggie, he's sixteen.
"You need a ride?" He asked.
"I'm good." I said without looking at his face. I stood up, picked my bag and began walking towards home but he followed him.
It was kinda far but I'd prefer walking home than being in the same car with HIM. The worse part is, HE'S DRIVING.
"C'mon, I know where you live. You can't possibly walk home."
"There's no harm in trying." I said, increasing my pace.
"Just let me drive you, it's the least I can do."
I stopped.
You know what, I kinda did need a ride, so why not. I'd just not talk to him. Easy.
I reluctantly got into the car and he started driving.
"Don't say a word." I warned him, and we didn't talk throughout the entire car ride.
We finally arrived home just in time. I felt as though if we had kept longer I was gonna explode in the car.
"Thanks for the ride." I said and got out of the car
He also got out of the car.
"What are you doing?" I asked, puzzled.
"I'm making sure you get inside safely?" He replied, sounding as if I was supposed to know.
He followed me until we were both standing on my doorstep.
"You can go now." I told him.
Before I knew it, his lips were pressed against mine.
