Allison's POV

He was gone when I woke up. I walked around the house to see if he was still there but he wasn't. My fantasy of waking up beside him and telling him that was the best night of her life ended. She made herself coffee and got ready for school. Maybe he would be there and she could ask him why he left.

Dylan wasn't there in the halls or in our AP Biology class. I tried calling his cell and also had the thought of driving myself to his house. But maybe he needed space. I don't get why he would need any because believe me I don't think I was the only one  that enjoyed our night together.

I drowned myself in homework and tried to get rid of any thoughts about him. I slept and prayed I didn't have dreams about him. I needed to stay busy while he did whatever he did.

I puked my guts out the next morning and skipped breakfast. But puked again when I went to school. What was happening to me?

"Allison?" I turned around to the sound of my name. Mr. Flinn our guidance counselor stood there in a tweed jacket and glasses perched on top of his head.

"Mr. Flinn, Hi what can I do for you?" I asked. He has been the only teacher in this school that I liked to go to for help. Whether it was with homework or issues that only he understood.

"Are you okay?" he asked

"Yeah I am fine, I think I am just coming down with a stomach flu." I lied. Never in my life did I get sick.

"Ok, be sure to tell me if you need anything." " I will Mr.Flinn"

I watched as he walked away. I sat on the floor and thought hard.

Did he put on a condom that night?

Am I pregnant?

I laughed sometimes I can be a little paranoid. Of course he put on a condom why wouldn't he. I can't be pregnant probably my pleasurable days of not being sick was gone. And I do have the stomach flu.

The woman told me how to use it. That I had to pee on it and wait for two minutes till the test said if I am positive or negative.

I waited patiently on my bed. Two minutes felt like an eternity. My hands started to shake as the timer on my phone beeped signalling two minutes was over. I looked down to the stick on my hand.

Negative. All the unsettling thoughts left my mind at once. As I blissfully laughed and sighed at the same time.

Whew!
