Hoodie walked through the forest, for one last time.
Admiring it all, one last time.
He did not tell anyone.
He hoped they would all just...forget.
A smirk creeped onto his face, at the thought of his sorrows being washed away, by everlasting death.
Nothing of him would ever be left.
And he wouldn't have to worry, anymore.
Before he knew it, he was at Luna's front door.
He opened the door, and there sat Luna. Reading the same book.
She looked up at him, and their eyes met.
For the second, he could see pain inside of them.
Not like a year ago, when they were full of life and joy. And innocence. Now, her eyes only held pain.
Luna stood up, and put the book down on the table.
She took a lighter.
"Are you ready?" she whispered.
Hoodie took a deep breath, and nodded.
Luna lit the lighter, and threw it to the wall.
The wall burst into flames, and thats when it dawned on Hoodie.
Even if they do die, the Slenderman will always be watching. Never ending eyes on their backs, they'd have to watch their backs.
He will always be there.
Haunting them, for enternity.
There was no escape from the Slenderman's wrath, and Hoodie knew he wasn't going to let them suffer.
He turned to Luna, her eyes were shut.
He grabbed her by the wrist, and her eyes shot open. She tried to pull away, but it didn't faze Hoodie.
Hoodie used his free hand, and smashed the window. He pushed Luna out of it, then hopped out of it himself.
Just in time, the entire house was in flames.
Luna turned to Hoodie, her eyes full of anger. "W-why the fuck did you do that!" Hoodie sighed. "You don't really want to die. You know you don't."
Luna raised her voice. "I did want to die. I wanted an end to this! I don't want to fucking live with this anymore!"
"we would never get away from Slenderman! even if we went through with it, he'd be watching. And I tell you now, there is no damn heaven! no hell, no anything! you rot in the ground. Being left with your suffering, for the rest of enternity!" Hoodie shouted, his voice was pure with anger.
Luna was taken back by Hoodie's sudden outburst.
She then whispered, "don't leave me here. We can watch everything burn, together."
Hoddie nodded.
They both watched the tiny house burn to ashes, along with everything around it.
They may have not burned with it phsyically, but it burned them mentally.
And that fire keeps coming back.
It's one reason,
to tear them both apart.
