"The same hurtful hits, it's your darker place.

In your virgin ears, the remarks they make."

Russia's POV:

I grimaced in disgust at my reflection. I was hideous, an ugly monster with no one to call their friend. The words of the nations crowded in my head and I covered my ears, shaking uncontrollably.

Idiot!

Evil!

Cruel!

Bloodthirsty!

Liar!

Monster!

Psychopath!

Murderer!

Rapist!

Worthless!

Unloved!

Hated!

"Do you really think any of us will trust you? After everything you've done?!"

"You're downright worthless, you know that? You can't do anything right. All you care about is violence, bloodshed, and making yourself more powerful than all of us. You're so stupid, Ivan!"

"Don't waste your breath, Matthew. He isn't worth it."

"I'm sorry!  I'm sorry!" I sobbed, clutching the sides of my dresser tightly as I cried. I looked up again at my reflection and a feeling of overwhelming guilt welled up in my chest and I screamed, drawing my fist back and punching it through the mirror. Glass shattered all around me and several shards lodged into my arm, blood streaming down my arm and hand. I winced slightly and dropped my hand to my side. My blood dripped steadily to the floor, and I smiled.
