Winter

the attack

I was outside playing with my guitar when I seen a huge wolf came into my front yard with a crazed look in it's golden brown eyes, it was growling like it was so mad. It then lunged at me, so I screamed as I felt it's teeth tear into my flesh on my side. I heard my parents scream as they watched me scream bloody murder, and then I faintly heard the sounds of sirens, and then is when I knew that I was losing consciousness.

When I woke up it was pitch black and I heard my mom and dads voices.
"What are we going to do Hank? The doctors don't know what's wrong with her, and she has a really really high fever, are we ever going to tell her about all of the paranormals?"
"No, Bella we are not going to bring her into this fight, that shifter is going to die by my bare hands, but we absolutely can't tell her about the inside world just yet."
"She's going to figure it out once she turns! Anyway she's 16, we are gonna have to tell her because we have to keep our baby safe Hank, don't you care about our daughter?"
"Of course I care Bella, but I just don't want her to get hurt again, because you know that it will be more dangerous because we know our daughter and know that she will go after the paranormal because she is a curious little girl."
"Yeah but let me tell you what if she gets attacked again or attacks someone else? What will you do then, huh?"
"I don't know, contain her?"
"So you would lock up our daughter for the rest of her life just so you don't have to tell her? Wow I don't know what I seen in you when I married you but it was not this you werewolf. Now she is more than a half breed she is full werewolf now, like you and you weren't locked up for the rest of your life, now we're you?"
"No but when I change I have to be locked up or I will tear everything up, remember? Do you want our baby girl to be a monster that all paranormals can be?"
"No  but she does not deserve us keeping her in the dark for her whole life, and when she wakes up with a desire to kill or howl at the moon or whatever then how would you explain that, mister big shot?"
"I don't know! But I just don't want my little girl to get hurt again."
"Of course you don't Hank, and neither do I, but there is more of a chance of her getting hurt when we keep her in the dark but, if we tell her then she will know to look out and to stay away from all other paranormal s, I know because she is a smart girl and she will always make the right choices."
"Ok when she wakes up we will both tell her Bella because she deserves to know the truth and the full truth, as you pointed out."
At that point after my father and mother was done talking I was more confused than ever but, I was also very tired and in a lot of pain so I just passed out again.
