I hate school, so damn much. As soon as I walk in the building the glares and whispers start. Like if you want Mike take him, he wants me not the other way around me I think about what Liam could've meant last night. I told you its about to happen.

It sends chills down my spine as I turn down the hall to my locker seeing Mike, Crystal, and Liam leaning against it. I walk up to them clearing my throat. Crystal rolled her eyes looking at me while trailing her manicured fingers down Mike's abdomen and he just chuckled.

"Let her get into the locker, dumbass," Liam frowned pushing Mike out the way.

Mike looks my way and grins. I open my locker pushing my things inside. "Ray, how come you didn't want a ride today?"

"I wanted to walk," I said shutting my locker. Crystal was inches away from kissing Mike before Liam punched Mike on his arm.

Crystal glares at me. "If you want to have him, then I'm not stopping you."

Mike laughed. "You ain't stopping shit, Ray. I do what the fuck I want," he smirked wrapping his arms around Crystal's waist.

"Then why date her?" Crystal laughed. "She ain't shit."

"Because I can," Mike said and placed a kiss on my cheek before walking off with Crystal.

I look up at Liam with watery eyes before running off. Liam called after me, but I just kept running until I was out the building and far from it.

Tears stained my face as I made it to the lake. I walk down the boardwalk staring at the deep, green water. I took off my shoes sitting on the edge. Dangling my feet into the warm water, I closed my eyes before pushing off the edge landing into the water sinking to the bottom...

I groaned listening to the monitor beep according to my heart rate. Why can't people just let me die? It's not like I'm important or anything. It's not like anyone give a flying fuck if I live another day.

I sit up looking around the hospital noticing a couple flowers and some stuff animals. I turn my head towards the sound of snoring looking at a bumy Liam laid across the hospital couch.

Why can't he leave me alone?

Why save me now? I've been beaten to near death multiple times for the last five years. What's the point now? Mike is his best friend since the fourth grade and he goes behind his back to do this.

Without Mike..... shit with me Mike doesn't even care. I don't get why he didn't just let me drown. How'd he find me? Nobody knows about me going to the lake. He doesn't even have a car and Mike would be on his ass. I look around at the clock on the wall across from the window. It's almost noon, should Liam be in school.

I sighed laying back down facing away from him. The door opens and I closed my eyes quickly. Someone quietly closes the door, I listen to their footsteps walk over to Liam. They smack their lips.

"Liam, why are you still here?" some guy asks and does something to make Liam groan.

"Fuck!" Liam groans. "What the hell?"

"Why are you still doing here? Don't you got finals today?" the guy asked. "You need a shower, Liam. Leave."

"Why? The doctor said she could come two any day now. I want to be here when she wakes up."

"Why so you could tell her?" the guy asked. "Why would you want to do that? She loves Mike, you going to make her want to commit again."

"She don't love him. She does this because of him!"

"And how do you know this? As far as I heard, you haven't even been watching over her. What the fuck, were you thinking letting him beat her like that? Huh? What kind of best friend is you?"

"Ay, I didn't know until he slapped her around at her competition. And it's not like I got fucking say. I say something she doesn't listen. I kick his ass and he goes to her house and beats her worse thinking she said something to me. I moved into her house to stop her dad from laying his hands on her. I can't do every fucking thing, Sid."

"Why haven't you called Vin?" Sidney asks.

"Why so she could completely stop talking to me once he comes home and want to kill everyone? It's been three years since we have even heard from him, how do we know he even coming home?"

"We know because he always comes back for her," Sid said.

"And her mom has been talking to him."

"So, her mom doesn't know shit. She just came back into Val's life after ten years. What the hell is she going to say?"

"She been talking to lots of people she got back. Like your principal and some of Val's old friends. What ever they told her made her call him and she put her husband behind bars for child abuse. The cops just waiting on Val's statement to take Mike in."

I heard a sigh. "She ain't going to do that," Mike says.

"You said she didn't love him, why wouldn't she?" Sid asked.

"Because multiple times the cops has asked her to, she just don't."
