Alpha, Step Aside

Hey Wattpadians!!!! My name is Alyssa. This is my first story. Sorry for bad grammar, I'm writing my story chapters on my phone and then trying to write authors notes on the computer. Please voice your opinion freely. Tell me what you think. The first chapter is a little boring. Its an intro of my character. It gets better I swear! Well I'm not really swearing, but I promise. ;)

Scarlett

I'm Scarlett Rose McClaire. Long wavy auburn hair kindof with gold highlights ( yes its all natural) and bright light blue eyes. I look nothing like my family, my dad and brother have short blonde hair and a deep pretty green color eyes and my mom has blonde hair with really dark blue eyes. Yes I am the first born child of Alpha Dan McClaire and of Luna Stacey McClaire. Now your probably wondering 'doesnt that make you a girl alpha?' Well the answers no. You see its the first male son that gets that title. So my little brother gets that title. I could've been the better alpha though! I mean it! I'm way stronger,wiser,smarter,and funnier than my brother. I always beat him at everything, but because I'm a girl I can't be alpha. But even though I'm not "Alpha" everyone in my pack knows to respect me. At school everyone knew to stay out of my way or else I would beat them up. Even though I'm not alpha, I always lead my pack, and my brother let's me. My brother takes the title, but I take the action. Even my brother knows to never tell me what to do. I guess you could say I'm a little bit bossy.

I live in an average town. My family is filthy rich, but were very generous and we never brag. I have two bestfriends Brent and Brylee. There such dorks, but I love them.My father is very outgoing and friendly. That's probably why he's the best Alpha ever. He welcomes almost everybody in our pack. Even rogues are welcome. After my father puts them through the test that is. My mother is very caring and loving. She is the definition of mom and Luna. She always cares about everyone. She always put everyone first before herself. Which can get annoying. There was a time almost everyone in my pack had Strep throat and she didn't care if she was going to get it too. She took care of all them. Making sure they took their medicine and drank a lot of herb throat better tea. And when she got sick, she didn't care. There was not even one complaint from her. Even when she was sick she was still trying to help the pack. My brother is a very mellow lad. He's not really bossy to the pack. Heck he even lets them voice their opinions if they disagree with him. Which surprises me that he wouldn't rip their throats for disobeying. Maybe it's because he knows I'd do it for him. Not going to lie, I'm pretty stubborn and I don't take crap from no one. If you couldn't make it to something, u better have a good reason to why you weren't there or else your going to hear a lot of yelling and cussing. But other than that I'm not that bad. I do have a heart.

"Finally High School is over!" I shouted to the top of my lungs. I'm only 17, but I got to graduate a year early. Thank God! "Thanks Scar for popping my ear drum." Cole said sarcastically." Don't be jealous little brother, 2 more boring years and you'll be 18" I tried winking at him, but I looked like a horse on crack. "You do realize that high school was only boring to you, right? Your such a nerd you always stayed in your room studying." "Because I had nothing else to do." I got in to my attitude stance with my arms crossed. " Well you always scared people, would you wanna hang out with someone who threatens to cut your nuts off?" "I only said it a few times." I mumbled. "You said it to basically every guy in our school and you threatened the girls saying you'd do that to their mates so they couldn't have kids."

He did have a point. I was pretty intimidating, but hey everyone needed to know who I am and not treat me like some meat "Well first off the guys were being gross and checking me out and the girls were talking back to me. I wasn't going to let them treat me with disrespect. But look, now everyone listens to my orders!"

" Only because you scare them," as he rolled his eyes at me. Took everything I had not to slap him."Phh whatever" I flipped him off and decided to go and get some ice cream.

I love cookie dough ice cream! It's my weakness, shh don't tell anybody. The only person who knows is my mom and she'd never say a word. She loves me too much. So as I got my ice cream from my hiding spot in the freezer and decided to just go to my room and smother my face with it.

As i'm listening to Warrior by Demi Lovato, which by the way I love because I totally am a warrior. Anyways Cole walks up to me with a very worried look on his face. " Scar I need to talk to you." " Okay whats wrong? Oh my God mom and dad are okay right? Daemen didn't get them did he?" I started babbling like a fish out of water. "No Scar, but thats kind of why I'm here. You see me and dad decided as Alphas that you need to go some where safe." I looked at my brother in shock. "What do you mean?" Where can I be safe? Daemen will find me either way.

" Your going to have to run away for a little bit. Maybe in the human town far from are pack." I was never a person to run from my problems. Why would I now. I'm sure I could take Daemen down, but Cole doesn't want any of our pack members life at risk. Which I understand, but we are a really strong pack... we probably could ask another member to join and we definitely would win in a heart beat. But we don't really like bringing others to our problems. "Scar, don't look at me like that. Don't think of it as running away. Think of it as a long vacation." "Are you serious?" Is he stupid? "Yes, your going to leave tomorrow morning at the train station." I was literally in shock. I just stared at my brother like a fish out of water.

I've never left my territory before. My brother was always the one to leave to meet other packs. I stayed home. I never wanted to leave, hell I love this place. It's where I grew up, but now after 17 years of my life I have to leave and go other places. I hate Daemen!
