Teagan

3AM

I took a long drag from my cigarette. Sighing in boredom, as I just sat inside of my car alone with my music playing softly from the radio. It was another sleepless night, my thoughts keeping me awake. I rolled the window down and threw the cigarette out of the car. I reached into the backseat of my shit car and grabbed my blanket, reclining the seat, i got comfortable. Dean's name lit up my phone screen not long after. I looked at my phone for a minute and silenced it. It was 3 a.m. I may be bored, but I didn't have the energy to do one of his crazy schemes. Remembering that school was in just 4 and a half hours, I shut my radio off and pulled my blanket over my head, trying to actually get some sleep.

6AM

I was beyond tired. I didn't want to go to school. I thought, maybe i could just skip. Drive around town, have Connor come with me. But the thought left my mind. I threw my blanket in the backseat and grabbed my mascara from the broken glove compartment. I applied some on my eyes and grabbed my toothbrush and went inside of the gas station bathroom. "Hey T," John said. He owns this gas station and lets me stick around in the parking lot here. "Hey John." he tossed my a toothpaste bottle and i headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. "You hungry?" John asked before I left. "Not today buddy, see you later." I pushed the door open and let the cool morning air hit my face. I took one last look at myself in the side mirror before getting back into my car and leaving for school. Bags under my eyes and a red, almost pink color surrounding them. Not caring much about my appearance, I ran my fingers through my hair on the drive to the building. I barley made it to school. But luckily, I made it before the bell rang. While basically running to class, I ran into some guy. Like literally ran into him, I was on the ground

"Oh god I'm sorry." I looked up and a tall blonde guy was holding his hand out to help me up, embarrassment was all over his face.

"Thanks, but I can get up myself." I rolled my eyes and stood to my feet and the boy looked away, scratching the back of his head.

"Right sorry, I'm-" He held out his hand again, but this time to introduce himself, but Michael Clifford tugged at the back of his white t-shirt.

"Luke! Let's go!" Michael almost whined. I'm not going to lie. Michael was hot, but he was awkward as hell.

Luke looked at me and back at Michael and just waved goodbye. I did a small wave but he didn't see, he was already on his way. I walked over to my locker grabbing the things I needed and shoved them into my backpack when Dean came from behind, swinging an arm over my shoulder, scaring me half to death.

"Hey, why did you ignore my call last night? Hm?" Dean poked my side making a small laugh slip out of my mouth. You see, Dean is my best friend. Almost brother. I've known him since I was 9 and we were always together, still are today. Sometimes. Some people are convinced that we are a couple because sometimes we act like it as a joke, and others like Aliyah, Nate, Anthony, and Kyle know that he's nothing more than a close friend.

"I was asleep you ass." I pushed him off of me, laughing.

"Really? My Teagan was asleep at 3AM.? Who are you and what have you done with my best friend!" He grabbed my shoulders and started shaking me vigorously. I knocked his hand off and gave him a small shove.

"Alright leave me alone." I slung my bag over my shoulder and started off to class with Dean by my side, his hands in his pockets.

"So uhm, the gang is all meeting up after school. You tagging along?" he asked, raising his brow.
