ch 27

the next morning alice woke, sat up, and yawned. leaning over to get out of bed she felt an arm hanging loosely around her waist. looking down, she followed the arm to rogue. blushing, memories of last night hit her hard. covering her face she peeked through her fingers to see him snore. smiling she laid back down and snuggled up to his chest, his arm tightened around her waist and brought her closer to him. missing the smile that was on his face, she fell back asleep.

fairy tail:

the guild has finally gotten better since lucy left, and they were defeated at the grand magic games. natsu and lisanna have gotten together against the guilds wishes. lisanna is finally happy now that natsu isn't fighting for lucy anymore, she has him all to herself. the rest of the guild still mourn for lucy but they decided they will respect her wishes to stay at sabertooth.

sabertooth:

alice and ayame both walk towards the train station, they were on their way to magnolia for a mission.

"what do you want to do if we see a fairy?"

alice shrugged her shoulders, "nothing, if we don't mess with them, then they dont mess with us. we are only there for a mission and that is it."

"what about for cake?"

"........only for a little while, then we leave."

"yes!" ayame shot her fist up into the air and smiled. alice smirked and stepped onto the train with ayame close behind.

walking through the familiar roads brought back a bunch of fun memories for alice. ayame saw a cake cafe and pointed towards it.

"after the mission, for right now we stay on task." ayame pouted while trailing after alice, alice chuckled under her breath.

making their way to their clients house, they pass a restaurant when laxus and his team walked out.

they stopped, we both stopped as well.

"lu-i mean alice?" evergreen asked.

"yes?"

"what are you doing here. not that you aren't welcome here i mean!" she put her hands up.

"me and ayame are here on a mission."

"oh......you going to come by fairy tail to say hi or something?" bixlow asked.

"no.....sorry."

"alice....we need to get to the clients house soon." ayame pulled on my cloak.

"right, bye guys."

"bye alice." they all said. ayame and i walked away and turned the corner and ran into gray and erza. 'what the crap are they all doing out here!?'

"lucy!" erza called in shock.

"its alice."

"right sorry. what are you doing here?" erza asked politely.

"me and ayame are on a mission, which we are late for. so if you two will excuse us." we both walked around them and continued on our way.

erza and gray rush in yelling, "we saw lucy with that ayame girl!"

"relax, we saw them to. they aren't here to cause trouble." laxus stated.
