The next morning I woke hoping my little girls heart was beating normally again. The nurse would come in during the night to check her.

"Hello, Quinn we are going to check her heart beat now," Dr. Will said smiling.

They started looking at machines and the smile on Dr. Wills face soon vanished.

"Is something wrong," I ask looking at the doctors and nurses.

"Well, Quinn we need to get you ready for a c-section," she said trying to sound not worried.

"Her heart beat isn't normal," I asked.

"No it's getting to be to slow and if it slows anymore she may die," the doctor said walking out of the room.

Before I knew it I was getting a c-section. They let my mother be in the room with me.

"Ok so we have some clear liquids nothing abnormal," the doctor said.

"Quinn, I see the baby's face," my mother said smiling.

It was the first time she had smiled since I said I was pregnant. That smile made me smile.

"Quinn, she is beautiful," my mother said excitedly.

"Ok we are now going to take her out," they said before they took her out of my stomach.

While one doctor stitched my belly up the other took my baby and started checking her. Her lungs weren't fully developed yet so she had to put in the ICU.

Soon after the surgery Dr. Will came in and asked me what her name was.

"Her name will be Aira Cathryn Heart," I said smiling at my mother.

"Ok sign her birth certificate," the doctor said handing me a pen and her birth certificate.

"Knock knock," I hear Shannon say.

"Come on in," I yelled.

In walked Grace, Sam, Shannon, Thomas, Jackson, Andrew, Jason, Georgia, May, Kylie M, Kylie J and even my father. Most of them had stuffed animals, flowers and balloons.

"Thanks for coming everyone," I said starting to cry.

"Honey don't cry," Shannon said hugging me.

Soon visiting hours were over and everyone left but Grace.

"What's her name," Grace asked me sitting in the bed next to me.

"I named her Aira Cathryn Heart," I said turning on the tv.

"Can I hold her when you take her home," she said looking at me with her big brown eyes.

"Of course," I said hugging her.

Soon we fell asleep.
