Chapter 1.

Emily wood age 15 ( Tyler's twin)
Tyler wood age 15 ( Emily's twin)
Jacob wood age 20 (half brother to emily and tyler, full brother with conner)
Connor wood age 16 ( half brother with emily and tyler, full brother with Jacob)

Gabe morse age 17 (step brother to woods, full brother with Brian)
Brian morse age 16 (step brother to woods, full brother with Gabe)

Chapter one

Emily's pov
I lay asleep in my bed, dreaming about my mother, i start crying because shes reaching out her hand for me and i try to grab it but she just slips further away. "No!" i cry out loud. I realize i woke myself up from my dream, look at the clock and see its 2:45am. I start sobbing. My mom died a month ago in a car crash. I never got to say goodbye to her. Its been so hard coping with this, all i do is sleep and have lost so much weight from being depressed. I cry myself to sleep every night. I start crying now and didn't notice my door open. I hear someone so i pretend I'm asleep and try to stop crying. "Em.......Emily you okay?" My older half brother Jacob came in and whispered to me. I pretend I'm asleep so he goes away. I hear the door close and am relieved he left so i start crying again. Then i feel my bed dip in and see Jacob, the moonlight shining on his beautiful blue eyes. He just stares at me while i stare back. "I um... What are you doing go away!" I snap at him. He looks down at me hurt at what i said and reaches down and kisses my forehead. I freeze in shock at what he's doing, he's never been this nice to me, he always treats me like shit. He pulls away from my forehead and whispers " shhh go back to sleep Em, Im not going anywhere till you fall asleep." I lay my head down and face the other way from him. He lays down next to me and i soon fall asleep. We stayed like that for the rest of the night.

7:00am
I wake up naturally since we don't have school because its Saturday morning. I remember last night Jacob sleeping with me, i turned to look over at him but he wasn't there. I decide to get up and get dressed. I go to my closet and put on my black leggings they barely stay up on me now because I've lost so much weight since mom died. I can see my ribs and hip bones a little bit. I put on my lace bra and a long sleeve henley top. I straighten my blonde hair and put on mascara and eyeliner. Hmmm i wonder what my brothers are up to. I decide to go downstairs.

I skip down my stairs. " ah shit!" I yell. I trip on Connors shoes. I get up and see my stomach is bleeding a bit from the fall. I hear footsteps coming towards me and look up to see Connor and tyler looking at me.

"Oh my god, Emily are you okay what happened?" Tyler says to me, rushing over to help me up. "I tripped on Connors stupid shoes" i glare at Connor who looks annoyed at me. "Whatever, watch where you're going slut" conner says to me and walks back to the kitchen. I get annoyed at him and run down stairs and go outside with tyler following me. "Emily stop where are you going?" He says. " just going out i don't wanna be around Connor." I say to him. He stops and looks at his phone then at me and says. "Please come back he's texting me now saying he's sorry." I walk back to tyler because i don't wanna argue with him, he's my twin we're best friends. He puts his arm around me and we walk back to the house.
I go into the kitchen and see Connor staring at me, with a look of sorrow on his face. I Ignore him and go to the table to sit down with Jacob and tyler. Conner was making breakfast for us today since we all take different shifts making breakfast. He was making oatmeal and fruit and cereal. After about 5 minutes i get up and go see why its taking Connor so long to make breakfast. " conner whats taking so long?" I say to him. He looks at me and stops slicing the fruit and walks over to me without saying anything and hugs me. He whispers to me "emily sweetie I'm sorry i left my shoes on the stairs it was stupid. Your not a slut i just got mad because I've been having issues at school." I just stand there while he's hugging me and then say " its ok conner, its not your fault." I back away from the hug and he notices I'm bleeding on my stomach from the fall. "Oh shit your bleeding". Without me getting to say anything he grabs a napkin and lifts up my shirt a little and wipes it off. I hope he doesn't notice I've lost weight or Jacob would be be pissed. "Thanks.. Con" i push his hands aways from my stomach and go back to the table. "Oh and conner hurry with the breakfast will you".
