My brothers

Chapter 5

Emily's pov
"Emily were home" i heard tyler whisper to me. I unbuckled my seatbelt and climbed out of the car. "Looks like dads back from work" i say to my brothers.

We walk inside and my dad is standing there with a woman i don't recognize. "Um hi dad," i say to him. "Hi emily" he says to me. "Michelle these are my kids, emily Jacob tyler and conner." The woman gave us a little hug and said she was Michelle. " Michelle is going to be my wife" my dad says. A few seconds later two boys who look a little older than me walk in.  "Hey I'm Brian" one of them says to us. " hey I'm Gabe" the other one told us.  They both have blonde hair and hazel eyes. "Conner, emily, Jacob and tyler they are your stepbrothers." We all stand their awkwardly and then Jacob suggested we go downstairs to watch a movie. Tyler is holding my hand as we go down. We all sit on the coach together.  Im in between tyler and Conner. Jacobs next to conner and Gabe.  And Brian is at the end of couch. "So what type of movie should we watch?" Jacob said. " i like horror" Gabe said and conner and tyler and Brian agreed. Jacob knew i hated horror movies so he said " well em looks like were gonna watch a horror movie". I rolled my eyes and ignored him. They chose the ring. It was terrible. I kept my eyes shut the entire time. "Well that was a good one" said conner. " ya, i heard theres a sequel we should watch it" Brian said.  I pretended not to care. "Ahh" i screamed covering my eyes. Tyler pulled me to him and rubbled my thigh so i calmed down. " you ok em?" He asked. "No I'm scared" i said. "It's ok sweetie, I'll keep you safe always" he told me. He kissed the top of my head and said to me "you tired? Wanna go to bed?" He said to me. "Mmhmm" i nodded. We said our good nights to our brothers and headed up stairs. Tyler walked with me to my room and lay down in bed with me for a few minutes. We did this a lot. I always feel closer to him than my other brothers because he's my twin and my only full brother. I turned and faced him and lay my head in his chest. "Tyler?" I said to him. "Yea emily?" He asked. " i love you" i said to him and started to fall asleep. Thinking in my mind if only he knew that i really loved him like not in a sister way. " i love you too Emily". He lay his arm around me and we drifted into a peaceful sleep.
