Elemental Danger

The truth

If you haven't realized I'll tell you the story. I had a team. Before the ghost crew I mean. I was the leader. There was one girl and the rest of us were boys. We all had elemental powers. Mine is fire. I'm the leader. Well was. Then there's sky. She was wind. Josh. He was the water expert. And last but not least carter. He controlled earth. They were my team. Yes past tense. I was deep in thought thinking of memories of them when Kanan yelled out
"Ezra Bridger! Pay attention!"
He said then sighed.
"You looked like you were in your own world. What's going on with you?" He asked calming down.
I sighed ready to make up another lie. Truth was it was almost "the"anniversary.  When I saw the empire in the distance.
"Kanan look!" I yelled out pointing to the hill next to us. We were surrounded. They moved closer and closer to us. Kanan pulled out his lightsaber but I knew it wouldn't be enough. I took a deep breath. They would all know after I did this. All of them. The empire. Kanan. Hera. Sabine. Zeb. Chopper. Rumors would stop and the truth would come out. But I had to do this. To protect them like I couldn't with the wolfs. (That's what they called themselves) I took another long deep breath and pushed aside all fear. Water from the near by lake flooded in taking down troopers along the way. Trees came crashing down onto the tie fighters. And finally a tornado started sweeping away the remaining troopers. Kanan just stood there. In shock. "Well can't blame him." I mumbled.
"Kanan get on the ghost. I'll explain later!" I yelled. More troopers were seen in the distance. I sighed. Kanan was on the ghost. Now it's my turn to get there. I ran and hopped on the ramp and the ghost took off. I prepared myself for the questions I would receive.  It's time for them to know the truth. I walked into the mapping room (?) and saw the ghost crew ready for a whole lot of questions to leave their mouths. I held up my hands in a calm down motion. "I'll explain. Give me a second to catch my breath." I said I took a deep breath. I'd been taking a lot of those lately. "Yes, i am the "Elemental" I think that's what they call me now. It used to be ringleader. Nope now it's "elemental"  now I'm guessing you want the whole truth. About everything?" I asked. They nodded.
"Well grab the popcorn it's a long story. When I was younger I loved with my family. I was born with the ability to control fire. My parents soon realized I was the future leader of the "wolf." They got scared of me. They left me on a street corner. I was only 6. They started there broadcasts though nearly a month after. They never loved me. They were to scared of me to love me. I soon found the other elementals. Carter. He controlled earth. He was the tough one. Josh. He controlled water. He was the calmest and chilled guy you could've ever met. And finally a girl named sky. She controlled wind. She was beautiful. Long blonde hair blue eyes. She could pursued anyone to do anything. You could get lost in her eyes." I said. I stopped for a second. My breathing hitched. I was lost in thought of hers again. "Sorry." I apologized. They chuckled. "Anyway I was the leader. I controlled fire. I had/have a huge temper. Luckily being the leader and having a great team taught me to control it. We grew up together. We watched each-others backs. We could always go down the most brutal of alleys and feel safe knowing we have someone watching our backs. I remember every mission we went on together from spray painting a tie fighter to saving all of lothal. We had a tough life. But we all survived that together." My breathing hitched again. I was taking more ragged breaths. "We almost survived. I mean. Just like the legend said we faced inquisitor after inquisitor and sith after sith imperial after imperial. All in one battle. It was night out on lothal. We were preparing for the war ahead of us. I was more than aware that I may never see them again. I cared for sky and she cared for me. We were together together for the past 3 years that night exactly. We all said how much we loved eachother and joked about our messed up family. But then they came. The siths and inquisitors. We were all pinned down. On our knees. I was the only one who knew how to shut down their machine. It would turn all of Lothal into oblivion. They..... They did something. My team i mean. They gave me their powers. Knowing that I could get out of there easier with them. And I did. But it cost them. All of them. Their lives. They gave everything for me. Josh was the first to go. He told me to be strong and remember to stay calm. Carter was next. He told me to never give up without a fight. Lastly.....sky..... She told me it would all be alright. To take care of myself and that she loved me with all of her heart. Then she died in my arms." My voice broke towards the end. "So now you know the true legend of not the elemental but of the elementals. I was never strong enough. I wasn't strong enough to save them. Now their gone. The wolf is officially gone. I still remember every joke carter told every saying josh said and every smile sky smiled at me. What I would give to see that again. I have to go back to war soon." I said regretfully. They gasped and said no no no. Over and over again. I sighed. "I never finished the war we started. It's what they would have wanted. So in exactly 2 days time I'll set out for lothal not knowing if I'll come back. Two days will be the anniversary I dated sky and the anniversary she died along with the rest of my family. You can't stop me. I have to go." I finished then left the room.
