The train pulled into Paddington Station, right in the heart of London.
"We're here!" I poked Ella in the side to wake her.
"Huh?" She opened one sleepy eye.
"Quick," I picked up my bags. She groaned and took her suitcase down from the overhead rail. We made our way to the end of the carriage and climbed down on to the bustling train platform, dragging our suitcases behind us.
I'd been looking forward to this trip for months, ever since me and Ella had planned it. We'd finished our exams last week, and had decided to come to London for the weekend to celebrate. We'd both been saving up for ages, and were going to try and pack as much as we could into this weekend. First on our list of things to do was the London Eye. However we had to drop our bags of at the hotel first.
We walked to the side of the platform where there was a map of the London underground train system. However we couldn't make head nor tail of it, and asked a passer by if he could help. He pointed us in the right direction.
"Thank you!" Ella called as we wheeled away.
We came on to the platform just as the train doors began to close. I swore, picked up my suitcase and began to run.
"Wait!" Ella called after me.
I turned my head back to see her struggling to lift her case. She'd insisted on packing her entire wardrobe.
But with my eyes occupied on Ella, I didn't see the guy in front of me, also trying to reach the train in time. I ran strait into him.
"Sorry, I'm so sorry!"
"No worries," He smiled at me. He had messy blonde hair and captivating blue eyes.
"You trying to catch this train?" I had been too busy looking at this boy I hadn't noticed his friend standing next to him.
"Yeh," I said as Ella came up beside me.
The doors slammed shut, and the train began to move away.
The first boy noticed my face drop.
"Its okay," he said "there'll be another one in a couple of minutes. So it doesn't matter that you bumping into me made us miss it too."
I couldn't place his accent but it was was so cute.
"I'm really sorry!"
He grinned. "No worries,"
I smiled back. I could see Ella raise her eyebrows and grin in the corner of my eye.
"So," said the second boy. He had dark black hair which was spiked up slightly at the front and dark brown eyes. "You're not from around here are you?"
"No," I said as we walked to the platform. "we've come for the weekend, as a kind of celebration; we finished our exams last week."
"Cool," said the first boy. He was hot. So hot. With his hair, and casual yet so fashionable clothes, his cute smile...
"I'm Ella by the way," Ella said "and this is Grace."
"Alfie," said the dark haired boy.
"Caspar." said the first boy.
Little did I know that Caspar would play a bigger part in my life than I ever could have expected.
