"Alina, come back here you little muffin!" I shouted as I chased after her. Alina is my younger cousin.

She's only 5 so she likes to run around and play a lot. Sometimes, it gets really annoying because she obviously runs a lot faster than me, and she runs a lot.

"Alina!" I shouted once again, stopping, bending down and putting my hands on my knees and trying to catch my breathe, "Alina! Stop running," I told her.

She stopped running and she wasn't even panting! How was she not panting? "You run fast," I said breathless, "and a lot," I shook my head.

"I'm a child, I love running around!" She jumped around. Why is she so hyper? Was I that hyper when I was a child? Maybe I was, but I seem so lazy it's hard to imagine myself running around fast and a lot.

"True but, give me a break at least," I said when I wasn't panting anymore.

"Alright....." she said and crossed her small arms over her chest and started tapping her foot on the ground impatiently. She waited for a minute or so then spoke again, "I gave you your break, can we go run again now?"

I rolled my eyes, "you can go run, I'll be here, yell out my name if something happens or if a stranger touches you, okay?" I told her.

"Okay," she nodded.

"I'm watching you, don't go anywhere away from the park," when I finished my sentence she ran off to the slides and swing sets. They look really fun, but not as fun as they were when I was younger.

I watched her laughing and smiling at the other kids around as they smiled and laughed back. I saw her run around and be chased by other children, she looked like she was having a lot of fun.

It made me smile because she reminded me of myself.

As I was watching her, I saw a boy push her on the ground. She fell and clutched her ankle as the boy just stared at her smiling. I quickly stood up and ran to her, "Alina, are you okay?" I bent down to her and touched her ankle but she hissed in pain.

I looked up at the little boy who pushed her, "why did you push her?" I asked him.

"Because I'm cool!" The boy replied with so much enthusiasm.

"Pushing someone, is not cool, it's mean, especially if it's a girl," I explained to him as Alina started getting teary eyed, "where's your parent? Or anyone else that you're here with?"

"I don't know, he should be somewhere" the boy shrugged his small shoulders.

When I was about to say something else some guy came towards us. He seemed to be my age or maybe a couple of years older, "James!" He came jogging, "what happened?" He asked the kid who's name was apparently James.

"I pushed her to the ground," James said pointing to Alina.

"Oh yeah, nice!" The guy replied, giving a high-five to James.

"Nice? Excuse me, but she is hurt" I told him, "There is nothing nice about this, okay? Get your mind straight mate" I told him.

"Did she get hurt that bad?" He crouched down to have a look at Alina.

"Yes, she's on the urge of crying, but I know she won't, because she's a strong girl, right Alina?" I turned to Alina. She slowly nodded and I smiled at her, "why would you want to teach your brother or cousin or whoever he is that pushing or hitting a girl is perfectly fine?"

"Hey! He's learning from the best, okay?" He pointed to himself.

"The best? Yeah, no, keep dreaming asshole."
