I was thinking that as I was in the shower. It was Saturday January 6th,5:45pm. I had a couple minutes left til I had to go audition for this group. I was a lil excited but also insecure that maybe they won't pick me. I got out the shower and put on "get lucky" by daft punk. I got dressed and lotioned up. I put on my blue sweat pants and my pink hoodie. With my blue and yellow Jordan's

I grabbed my phone and saw Bria texted me.

I walked down stairs to grab my keys and headed out to my car. I drove to the place where the audition was and parked my car. I walked in and saw thousands of guys. I got my number and sat in the waiting room. About 45 minutes of waiting my number was finally called.

"Number 27" I stood up and walked into the audition room. There at a table was three guys about my age(one with blonde hair,another with 2 braids, and one with a short hair cut) beside them was a woman and a two men. "Alright so wats your name" the lady asked me. "Jacob Perez" I responded. Then music played and I started dancing. About 3 minutes passed and then I stopped dancing. "Can you sing" the boy with blonde hair asked "yea" I said. "Show us." The three boys said in union. They played their song Girls talkin' Bout and I started singing. Finally after that I was asked some questions.

"How old are you Jacob" one of the men asked me. "17 sir" I responded. They nodded their heads and said they will call me if I made it. I left the building and called Bria.

"Hello" her sweet voice said into the phone. "Hey bri" I said starting my car. "Hey how'd it go" "it went well,they said they will call me if I made it" I informed her. "That's good jake!" "Yea so how's the baby shower" I asked. She sighed and then replied "it's going fine,but I don't wanna be here" she said. I chuckled at her response "awe you don't wanna be there" I said "haha Jacob Shut Up! You know I hate baby showers,I rather be at home doing nothing" she said. "Well how bout I come by" I said. "Sure! Be there in 10" I said driving into the busy street.

I drove to the baby shower-which were at her aunts house- and knocked on the door then she answered. "Hey Jacob come in" I walked in the house and she took me to where she was hanging out. "So tell me everything" Bria said. I explained to her that I met the band and the managers I guess. She was really excited for me and hoped I made it. Then my phone started ringing. The name Keisha Gamble pop up on caller ID.

"Hello,is this Jacob Perez" I put my phone in speaker. "Yes" I said. "Hello this is Keisha Gamble from Mindless Behavior and I just wanted to inform you that you are in the group" the voice said. Bria's eyes widen as she started to get excited. "Really??!!" I asked in shock. "Yes we really think that you can contribute what we are looking for in this group" "thank you so much!" I said. "You're welcome,come by the house tomorrow we want you and the guys to meet" she said. "Ok great,I'll see you all tomorrow then" I said. I hung up the phone and then Bria started to smile real hard.

"OMG JACOB!!! THIS IS AMAZING!" "I know! I didn't think I would make it" I confessed. "Well you go see them tomorrow! I'm really happy for you" she said pulling me into a hug. Who would have thought that I would make the group right after the audition? Surely not me,but I'm glad it happen.
