Audrey's POV.

I walked into the school and smiled brightly. Oh, how I missed this place! I went to the school board to see in what group I was going to be in. I hope I get to be with one of my friends. I searched for my name on the paper where Skye's name was but I didn't find it. I looked over at Kendall's and I wasn't there either. I looked over to the paper that said 10-3 and saw my name.

Why?! Why couldn't I be with them?! I sighed. Great way to start my day. I made my way to my locker and ran into them.

"Skye! Kendall!" I yelled.

"Hey, Audrey!" Skye greeted.

"Sup" oh Kendall, how can you hate this place?

"How was your summer?" I asked politely.

"It was hella awesome!" Kendall exclaimed.

"Mine too" said Skye.

"Glad they were. Did you see the groups?"

"No, why?" Kendall asked.

"Um, well... We aren't in the same groups! Skye is on 10-1, you're on 10-2 and I'm in 10-3!" I exclaimed.

"WHAT?!" they yelled. "No way! We haven't been separated since kindergarten!"

"I know that!" Kendall groaned. "Just what we needed" she said.

"Yeah, just great" Skye said.

"We have to talk about everything that has happened in summer and of course, complain but I don't want to be late, so bye guys" I said getting my books for Math class.

"Bye!" They said as I walked away and entered the class room. I sat at the back, like usual. The teacher, Mr. Fuentes, began teaching right away. I absolutely love his class since well... I'm a math nerd.

"Well, Mr. Anderson. You may take a seat next to Miss. Vargas" I heard Mr. Fuentes say. I looked up slightly and saw a boy walking my way.

Panic mode: on. I hate being with some stranger, especially since I'm not with my friend.

"Hey, I'm Kyle and you are...?" He smiled charmingly and I could feel my face turn a light shade of pink.

"I-I'm A-Audrey.. N-nice to meet y-you" I stuttered. Just what I needed.

"Nice to meet you Audrey" he smiled and then payed attention to Mr. Fuentes. (If you like Pierce the veil, I love you).

We payed attention to him and wow... This is so easy! Lineal equations? Really? Mr. Fuentes handed out the worksheet and I began right away. When I was at the 15th exercise, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked over at Kyle. He gave me an awkward smile before clearing his throat.

"Um... You seem to know what we have to do sooo... Will you please explain to me?" He was turning red and I smiled.

"Of course" I replied and began explaining it to him.

"So you divide through the same number that is next to the variable and divide on the other side to and that's your answer" I finished explaining.
