Chapter Three - The Unexpected

After I finish eating I decided to go home.

When I got home I went to drop all my bags in my room and change into my sweatpants and oversize sweatshirt. When i was done I heard a loud sound from downstairs and I got a little freak out. So I reached under my bed to take out a baseball bat, i dont even play baseball I just decided to buy one since it seem like it could come in handy in case something ever happens.

I walk slowly down the stairs looking at every direction. When something suddenly grabs both of my arms from behind making me squeal and drop my baseball bat instantly.

"PLEASE DON'T KILL ME," I yell. Then I heard a laugh. A too familiar male laugh.

As soon as I turn around he said,"Hey baby sis, missed me?"

"Argh, Jesse you scared the crap out of me. What are you doing here?"

"Mom called me and said she was going to be out with dad and didn't want you to stay alone so here I am." He said.

"You should have called that way I wouldn't have been freaking out about dying." I stated.

He let out a chuckle, "Yeah, I should have but i didn't and do you know why I didn't."

I nodded.

"Well someone didn't tell me they were moving and I had to found out just today when mom called me to stay with you."

Crap. I forget to tell him i was moving. I knew i had forgotten to do something.

"I know. I'm sorry but it was all so fast and I didn't have time. I'm soooo sorry. Please forgive me," I begged.

"It's okay, as long as you agree to go eat dinner with me."

"Yeah sure, just let me go change."

"No no no, we're leaving now, come on you look nice," he said gesturing the door.

"Alright, but it's on you when someone randomly gives me money for looking homeless." I teased,

He laugh then we walked to his car. His laugh I really missed it. Jesse is my big brother and he moved out when he was seventeen. He's only two years older than me so we get along great, we both understand each other so i wasn't really mad when he told me he was moving. He's awesome and all but he still is my big brother which means he's really protective of me. Back at my old school I didn't have a lot of friends because I'm a nerd and if I had friends they just wanted to be because they wanted to get closer to my brother. My brother is that guy that every girl wants and that gets all the attention he's the bad boy, which is understandable since he has the looks and the attitude. I'm not gonna lie, my brother is good looking at all but i always wonder why did he have to get all the badass genes.

A few minutes later we arrived at Panda Express. We both order the same thing grilled teriyaki and chow mein.

"So, are you excited to go to a new school?" Jesse asked trying to make a conversation.

"Umm, not really I'm freaking out. It's hard to make friends," I told him.

"Hey you're gonna be fine, after all you are my sister and we share the same genes so you don't need to worry." He assured me.

"Yeah easy for you to say. Everyone loved you in high school, psh what am I saying they still love you. Everyone asks about you."

"I am unforgettable, aren't I," he joked.

"Yes yes you are," I joked back laughing.

After a few minutes of talking I found out that he has a roommate who is a senior in high school and is a bad boy like him, but I should have guess that if my brother had a roommate it would have to be someone as bad as him. They also live in a house since his roommate is rich and his parents don't want him in their house they pay for everything he needs as long as he stays out of their way. Talk about not having loving parents right.
