"Rise and shine maggot!" I screech as I burst into the young boy's bedroom.  "Waaaaaaaa!"  I laugh as Lacrimos (or rather Lacki as I liked to call him) fell out of the bed with a loud thump. That was going to hurt like a nagging mother in the morning. I can already imagine the size of the bruise that was no doubt forming on his backside. In other words, this was going to be an uncomfortable couple of months for this poor unfortunate soul.

"Why did you wake me up like that?" he demands, irritated while rubbing his backside. Yup, that bruise was going to be a giant. "I couldn't help it. My evil nature wanted me to see your reaction. Plus I got bored and wanted to have a little mischievous glee before we started with you training."

"I thought you were going to bring me my food," he says glumly.

"I said if I felt like it then I was going to bring you your food. I never said that I was."

"But you also said to find you if you didn't. You never said that you were going to wake me up or scare me for that matter."

"Well in my defense I didn't exactly plan to scare you. Like I said, I just suddenly felt like it and wanted to bring a little bit of excitement into your life. I think I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. Plus, I get to wake you up and be your alarm clock. You should be thanking me, not getting mad at me. Now tally hoe! Let's go get something to eat and fill up our bellies."

   "OK."

I wait for him to get himself off of the floor and started to lead him towards the general direction of the kitchen. Now that I thought about it I had absolutely no idea what I was going to cook for breakfast. I could make pancakes but I just didn't really want any at that moment in time. I could make a biscuit. Nah. Some oatmeal? Definitely not. Now what to make for a growing young boy who obviously needs a good and hearty breakfast in order for him not to pass out? I got it. She stops in the middle of the hallway. I will make some waffles with eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, and some tea accompanied by some juice or milk. I am such a genius.
Once outside of the kitchen doorway I halt and the brat crashes into my back. "I must warn you that I have yet to get breakfast ready so you might have to wait a while. I will try to hurry as I am also feeling the pangs of hunger that are accompanied by the sounds of death emanating from my stomach as a dying whale sound," I say in a monotonous tone without turning around to look at Lacki. "What?" I smirk at his surprised exclamation. My hunch was correct.

"You have no sort of education whatsoever, do you?"

"What's that supposed to mean? Are you calling me dumb? Cause I am smart. I might not know how to read or write, but I can still do everything that you can do. I can even do it better and faster than you," he ended with a challenged.

This kid does have some guts. I don't think even my parents would try to say even remotely hinting that they were better at me in anything. I would make anyone that even mentioned being better than me to prove it. Which is exactly what I did now. While I may not be cruel like my parents I oh so do enjoy the sight of making people squirm. I just hate it when people brag excessively and then they can't back it up. That's why whenever people say they are better then me I tell them to prove it. I don;t care if I'm the best, all I care about is that the person can prove that they can do it better.

I smile wickedly and say, "Oh yea? Then why don't you show me. Since you can't read or write let's do something simple. Just tell me this one little thing and I will admit that you are much more intelligent than I am and I will also formally apologize to you in front of the whole town. What do you say do we have a deal?" I hold my hand out to him so that he can shake it. He eyes it warily.
