Ross
I awake with a sudden outburst coming from Rydel. I groan and slowly get out of bed. There she is yelling at the bus driver.
Typical.
"What do you mean a tire popped!" It's that sentence that makes me suddenly interested in their conversation.
"I mean that we drove over some broken glass and the tire popped!" Our bus driver Ken exclaimed.
Uh oh.
He's getting frustrated.
I take a seat on the couch leaning my elbows on my knees. I look up at Rydel as she sighs out of frustration.
She rubs her temples as she speaks. "We have a show coming up soon and if we don't get this tire fixed soon there will be no show." By then she has taken a seat at the table and Riker has walked in.
"Uh guys."
We all look towards Riker.
"We don't have a spare tire and the closest gas station is 3 miles from here."
Without thinking I begin talking. "I'll walk over there, it's a lot better then being stuck in s bus with nothing to do."
I left the room with out letting them argue with me.
I slip on my sneakers grab my phone and head out the door.

I've been walking for about 45 minutes and I can just barely see the station. I start running towards it.
Daisy
I put my bike kick stand down and walk into work.
Cameron is already here and restocking the candy bars.
He heard me come in and looks at me for a brief second.
"Hey." He says continuing to stock the sugar filled bars.
"Hi" I say struggling to get my name tag on my shirt.
"Just you?" I looked around seeing no one was here.
"Just me." He smiles and grabs the empty box.
I walk behind the counter and stick my back pack on a shelf. I turn on the tv with it being super bowl Sunday and stare helplessly at it.
I am then snapped of my thoughts when the bell on the door rings. I look at who entered and noticed a tall blonde.
He then looks at me and I quickly look down and pretend to count the money.
I put the money back when I feel my phone vibrate. I quickly grab it and look around to see if my boss is anywhere to be seen. He's not. I check the text hoping it would be something interesting but it was just my mom asking me to bring home some milk. I was replying when my manager walks up to me and takes my phone away.
"Hey!" I said trying to grab my phone out of his hand.
This caused the blonde to look at me.
"You know the rules. No phone while you are working!" He shouted while shoving it in his pocket.
"I was texting my mom." I said giving him an annoyed look.
"I don't care." He got up in my face. "Now get back to work." I rolled my eyes and grab the crates full of beer and put them in the freezer.
I glanced up at the game that was still playing after seeing Cameron do his happy dance which right now by the way is not a good sign. The panthers were up by 6 points and it was getting close to the end of the 3rd quarter.
I may or may not have said some rather colorful words. I began stocking the beers.
"DAISY!" I swear I would kill him if I had the chance.
"WHAT!"
"Come help this young man over here at the register!"
"Coming!" I groaned.
Honestly working at a gas station is not as fun as you may think.
