Prologue

Yeri POV
*Kring Kring*
"Ugh." I groan in tiredness.

"Yerimie, get up, you need to get up for school. First day remember?" My mom came in my room and said as I groan and mumble words.

"Arraseo eomma." I said and got out of bed to get ready.
Hello, my name is Yerim. But call me Yeri. Only my long lost childhood bestfriend *cough* crush *cough* and my mother who calls me Yerim while my other friends call me Yeri.

"Yerim, you got everything you need right?" Eomma asked andi nodded.

"Okay, go to school now. You don't want to be late don't you?" Eomma said as she gently push me to the door.

As I was walking, I bumped into a boy.

"Yah! Watch where you were going!"
The boy shouted at me.

"Mianhe." I said and saw his face a little.

'No way. It can't be him. He was always nice and kind to me. He is like my first love. Would he possibly forgot about me? I thought we made a promise. I know. It's cheesy. But I was only 7 and he was 8.'

~Flashback~
"Oppa, please don't forget about me." I said as I pout.

"Don't worry. I won't forget you. But before you leave, I got this present for you."
Oppa said and he got a box from behind.
"Open it."
He said and I opened it.

I gasped as I saw what's inside.

"As you see, this necklace, is a heart. And this is a key. This key is the only key to this heart. It connects to it as you see."
Oppa said as he put the key to the heart and it made a small 'click' sound.

"I'll take the key and you take the heart."

"Why?"

"Because you you are the one of the kind little nerdy girl I know. And this one of a kind key is only for this one kind of a heart. And this heart will always and only belong to this key."
Oppa said which made me cry and hugged him.

"Uljima. And these necklace will show that we are always together no matter how far apart we are."
Oppa said as he kissed my forehead.

"Thank you oppa." I smiled and kissed his cheek as we both blush and still hug each other.
~End of Flashback~

"It can't be him." I mumbled as I stare at the boy's back as he walked.

"It can't be. It can't be." I continue to mumble as I walk into the school.
