Nathan Hunt, a fifteen year old secondary school student, was sitting on his bed, guitar in hand. His eyes were closed, he was focusing as hard as he could on the music. It was half eleven in the morning, Nathan was really late for school but he didn't seem to notice, he was fully consumed by his music at this point so nothing else mattered very much. His guitar was hooked up to his headphones, which could barely fit on his head as a result of his messy blonde hair. Nathan hadn't a care in the world.
After about fifteen minutes of playing guitar, Nathan removed his headphones and opened his eyes, revealing one wild green eye on his right hand side, and one deep blue eye on his left. An unusual trait, he had concluded it was birth defect, his parents must've smoked or something while he was in the womb. He never knew his parents, he was left at the door of an orphanage while he was still a baby, where he lived up until earlier this year when he convinced the orphanage to allow him to live on his own, he felt much more at peace here.
Nathan stood up, and made his way out of his bedroom, which was shrouded in darkness, and into kitchen he went. His apartment wasn't very large, it consisted of a joint kitchen/sitting room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a utility room which doubled as a hot press. Nathan, however, enjoyed his small apartment, it allowed him to do whatever he wanted, free of the orphanages judgment. Nathan made his was over to a cupboard, from which he pulled cereal, a bowl and a spoon. He made his cereal and ate it, before heading back into his bedroom to get dressed.
Emerging ten minutes later, he was dressed in a purple hoodie which had an anarchy symbol on the back, along with a pair of black jeans and blue converse. Nathan went to a somewhat prestigious school, which allowed for non uniforms because of all the high marks the students got. Nathan was smarter than he seemed to be on the outside, straight A's in every subject despite not caring for school in the slightest. Nathan proceeded to grab his skateboard and made his way out of his apartment and towards to school.
The journey to school for Nathan by skateboard from his house was about ten minutes, however that didn't stop him taking detours and occasional stop so that it takes half an hour to get there. Nathan is a kind person, and has nothing against anyone, however people still dislike him for his choice of activities outside of schools like hanging out in restricted areas and skateboarding where skateboarding isn't allowed. He is the physical incarnation of the, "Perfect," rebellious teen. After taking his usual detours, one to go to a shop and buy a coke and a few more just for the hell of it, Nathan finally arrived at school.
The school Nathan attends, from the outside, looks more like a creative art college. With kids wearing casual clothes walking around the place and the building not looking like a boring monastery no one would assume it's a prestigious school. Nathan opened the gates to the school, only staff and students are capable of doing this, they are given each a personal key to the gate, it allows for only people who should be in the school to get in and it notifies the staff as to when students have arrived. If you were to go into the school as a group you'd just touch the key off a scanner as you entered, no need to lock and re-open the gate for every student. The school is weirdly organized as well. To get into it, you need to have gotten high A's in every subject, however, while in it you only do the subjects you want, as long as you're good enough. The subjects Nathan takes are computer science, technology studies, maths, business and law. His classes are fairly popular among people who have already decided their career paths, there are the typical nerds who want to make a video game compony, and there's the students who's parents either want them to go into law or have to inherit the family business. Maths isn't a very popular class though, there are only five people in it aside from Nathan, one of these students is a girl named Iva.
Iva Merricks, the most popular girl in the school. She's pretty, with wavy, light brown hair and wild green eyes. She wears cute glasses when she needs to read something, however, she enjoys reading so most of the time she's wearing her glasses anyway. She doesn't consider herself to be smart despite being in the school she's in, and she always thinks everyone else is above her on an academic level when in reality she's one of the smartest in the school. Despite being the most popular girl in the school, she is very kind to everyone and doesn't think little of anyone. Everyone in the school looks up to her, and she is confident to do anything at anytime and isn't embarrassed by anything aside from one thing; Nathan. To her, Nathan is an untouchable entity, she admires his boldness and ability to do whatever he wants without caring what others think, she considers him to be somewhat of a Rogue Hero. No one else in the school would agree, but she thinks Nathan is awesome and cool, and his very presence intimidates her to the point where she can barely speak with embarrassment. Iva isn't a shy person in any other aspect of her life, only when Nathan is involved. There is a secret part of Iva's life which she would be embarrassed by if it got out, she's a hardcore blogger. She runs a very popular lifestyle blog under the username, "BrightLife," and is very respected in the blogging world, which is all well and good on the internet but the school must never find out about it, so she keeps her internet life on the down low, in fear of it accidentally leaking.
It was half twelve when Nathan arrived at school, meaning it was going to end in two hours. There was no real point in him showing up but he felt like it anyway. Anything to distract him from the touchy activities going on in his personal life. Nathan was confronted at the gates by the student council president; Christii Banes. Christii is fifteen years old, like Nathan and Iva, however completely different to the two. She has short, blonde hair and chestnut brown eyes. She's quite adventurous and proud, not much can shake or embarrass her. She is set in her views, and is quite good at convincing others into her way of thinking. She doesn't do much physical activity so she's quite skinny. She never got on well with Iva, and Nathan was the only person that is lax enough for her to talk to. They've been friends for years, after Nathan returned her cat that had been missing for a few months the two became best friends. Christii never developed any feelings for Nathan, she always thought of him more as an older brother, and Nathan thought of her in a similar way. The two argued a lot but not out of spite, only because of how loose Nathan was about everything, she always thought of this as his only bad feature, yet she recognized that it was what defined him as a person.
"How come you're so late?" Christii asked.
"I overslept," Nathan replied.
"I can't let this slip, y'know, no matter how close we are I'm still the student council president,"
"I know I know, just leave me be, I have a lot on my mind right now,"
"I know, we are sorry for dumping all of this on you but you're the only one who specializes in... that area,"
"I understand, just give me a few days to wrap my head around it,"
Christii took out her notepad and marked down Nathan as late, before leaving to patrol the campus. Nathan took out his phone, and unlocked it. The app he had open was an untraceable messaging system designed by himself, the only message on it was in a group named, "Psych," and the message read, "Your task is to remove this individual's existence from the face of the earth, failure is not an option,"
