Earthland and Edolas: Two Worlds Meet

They Arrive

Gray's POV

We were on our way back to the former guild hall that Fairytail owned. I was sitting on a bench in a carriage next to Erza. Flame Brain was next to Lucy and Happy who were trying to help him get through his motion sickness which was apparently "killing" him. Man he is such an idiot.
Just a few days ago we had won the Grand Magic Games and fought off the seven dragons that had come through the Eclipse portal. I slowly put my hand over my heart where I had been shot by one of the smaller dragons. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the drivers voice.
"Alright I can't get through the crowd anymore. You will have to walk the rest of the way."
We all got out of the carriage and started trekking through the large amount of people. Juvia had come to my side and was trying to get my attention. She just didn't realize what I was trying to do. I am very awkward when things happen with my heart so I only respond to her saying mean things since I didn't know how to act. Erza had told me that I should just say my feelings straight out, but I just can't do it. I switched back into reality mode when I bumped into Wendy in front of me.
"So sorry Wend-"
I looked up. The guild was perfectly restored not a scratch was visible. It was amazing. Our home that we grew up in, even though this is a different building since Phantom Lord attacked, was sitting there waiting to have our loud and crazy guild fill it up with laughter and great fights. I saw Gramps with some tears in some eyes. He stood up on some boxes and said, "FairyTail, with out most sincere gratitude thank the citizens of Magnolia for all of their hard work restoring out guild hall. Now... Let's Party!"
"Aye Sir!" We sounded like a bunch of versions of Happy, but who could blame us? Not that we would care.
"Gray-sama?" I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around and sure enough standing behind me was Juvia. She looked very different. Not in a bad way though! In fact what she was wearing was quite beautiful on her. It was a black dress that stopped above her knees where she had really long brown boots reaching her thighs. (Image in the media, I do not own it)
"Yes, Juvia?" I asked her.
"Ummm...Well Juvia just thinks that Gray-sama could look happier and at least smile. The towns people did put a lot of hard work into restoring the guild hall, and y-you seem kinda sad. Juvia doesn't want them to feel bad."
I was taken aback by her words. I tried to put on a smile. I succeeded in a way, it wasn't the best one I had, but Juvia seemed pleased by my efforts and started to give me one of the brightest smiles I had ever seen. It was good enough to make my day.
We all went into the guild hall. It looked brand new. Everything was clean. Until I heard the sentence that would ruin the peace.
"Hey Ice Princess!" Natsu yelled at me from across the room.
"What do you want Flame Brain?"
"Gray your clothes." I heard Cana say at the bar.
"Crap! When did this happen?"
"Hahaha! Stripper lost his clothes! Hahaha!"
From there on out everything turned into an item used in the brawl. Juvia was stalking me from behind a pole. Erza was trying to stop Natsu and I from fighting. We were all about to start using magic when Master spoke up.
"Brats! Since none of you have noticed there is a huge storm outside, you are all going to be confined in here until it is over. No complaints! Don't even try to go outside! If you do you will be punished by me. And none of us want that." With that we all started to chat, and look at jobs on the Request Board. The occasional brawls broke out only to be stopped my Mira or Erza. It was probably around ten o'clock at night when the storm had stopped and we were finally able to leave the hall. I really wanted to get away from Juvia, so I was the first one to the door. I opened it and outside was the Edolas Fairytail unconscious, and on the ground. The Erza from there also appeared to be unconscious. I yelled to Lissana the only thing I could think to say, "Lissana, some of your friends from Edolas have come to visit you!"
This got everyone's attention. But Lissana's, definitely,the most. She rushed to the door to look outside. Sure enough, the people that she had spent two years of her life with were there.
A new Lissana seemed to appear out of no where,"Everyone pick up a person it doesn't matter who! Wendy you get prepared to heal a lot of people. If anybody can supply her with magical power so she won't get tired do it! Don't just stand there. Get to work!"
We all immediately scrambled towards the other guild. I picked up their Gray. Who was extremely heavy because of all of the clothes. Man, I was so irritated with the guy I still remembered him fawning over Juvia like a madman. Come to think of it we all still looked exactly alike. I wonder if they had a seven year blank like we did.
We rushed them all into the infirmary and immediately had Wendy start to heal them. We called Porlyuscia to come over because, first she was a healer, second she was from Edolas, though only a few of us knew that. None of them were hurt to bad but what confused us all was why they are in Earthland.
We suspected that they were still running from the Royal City because Erza was with them, or Erza had to join them as a punishment of some sort. Lissana seemed the most stressed out of all of us, however, and no one knew how to comfort her.

Thank you all so much for reading my first chapter. I know there are a lot of stories like this, but none of them ever seem to finish. That is my goal. To actually make and complete an Edolas and Earthland fanfiction. Hope you enjoy it!
