Chapter 5

Its been two days since that day at school. I'm going to school at least my bone are healed and are better. Now to go put breakfest on the table for the devils that some may call pack members. I'm about to go downstairs when I notice that I didn't have my clothes. I turn around and go put on baggy clothes. I can't believe that today was the alpha's son's birthday.Well this what I would say instead of happy birthday : I know it's your birthday but I hope you rot in hell!!! Yay!! The thing that I hate the most is that all the mateless girls have to go including me, so I have to go shopping for a dress with the money I had saved from when I little and I have to buy it right after school because the ceremony is an hour after school.

"Velma hurry up I'm hungry!!!!!" My stupid brother said.

I grab the platter with the food on it and went through the doors but what I didn't expect was the cold bucket of water dropped on my head. I heard laughter as I ran upstairs. Dam them they can go to hell. I am not going to school today screw that I already get A+ on everything. I'm going dress shopping but first to ask Luna if she wants to come with me.

Luna's POV

I was getting changed when I heard knocking on my door.

"Luna open the door it's me, Velma." I heard Velma say.

I open the door to see her in wet clothes with a purse in her right hand.

"What happened to you?"

"They dropped a bucket of cold water on me, but that's not what I'm here for I wanted to ask you if you can take me shopping for a new dress for the ceremony?" Velma asked shyly.

"Yup I'm going with you."

Velma's POV

I got a blue dress that is strapless and some pumps. It's almost time for the ceremony so I am putting on my outfit. I'm going with my hair down so that it doesn't look plain and go outside. Everyone is looking at me. I am even hearing people say "who is that?".

"I told you no one would recognize you!" Luna says.

"Shut up! They'll hear you!"

"Ok" Luna says.

" Ok mateless girls line up!!!" We heard the alpha say.

I hurry and line up. I see Eli looking into all the girls eyes and then he comes up to me looks me in the eyes, and says "Mine!!!!!!!".

Shit I'm screwed. He grabs me by my hand and drags me inside.

"What's your name?" He said.

"You don't recognize me?"

"No should I?" He asked and then kissed me.

I pulled away from him.

"You should know me. I'm the one you have bullied for years and years!!!"

"V-v-Velma ?" He asked.

"Yes that's me!"

"I Eli Lucas reject Velma Blue." He said and walked away leaving me alone to cry.
