Chapter Five

"What did I say. You should go upstairs. This is your last warning." She gives me a scary look before she walks to the end of the corridor.
"Toriel! P-please. Let me go." I yell with fear in my voice. I walk farther and see Toriel in front of a door.
"Every human does the same thing. They leave and they die." She says in a very serious voice.
"If you want to leave, prove yourself. Prove yourself that you can leave the Ruins." Then, I go into battle with her. I keep talking to her.
"Toriel, I don't want to fight you." I scream. She ignores me and fights me.
"Oww." I say while rubbing my head. Then, I notice I can spare her. I keep sparing her.
"W-what are you doing? Fight me!" She yells with a worried face. I keep sparing her. Soon, she uses her attacks, but misses my heart. Then, she stops.
PLAY SONG
"How foolish of me. I can't even save another human." She smiles weakly to me.
"Toriel, I'll be back. And this time, I'll be alive." I say with determination in my voice. We hug each other for a long time.
"Hey. Can you actually.....not return, please." I let go of her and stand there with a shocked face. STOP PLAYING SONG. That's all she says before leaving. I try to call her, but she doesn't pick up.
"I promise I will be alive." I whisper. I go through the door. As I'm leaving, Flowey appears. I sigh and roll my eyes.
"What do you want, Flowey?" I ask, really annoyed.
"Good job! You saved a lot of monsters, didn't you?" I nod, not sure what he'll do next.
"But what if you came across a relentless killer?" I wonder what will you do?" He laughs evilly and leaves. I wonder if he meant if I was the relentless killer. I shake my head and leave the ruins. I go outside and see a bush with a camera in it. I ignore it and I keep walking.
"This is creepier than leaving." I say while I'm shaking a little. I feel like I'm being followed. I walk across a tree branch, but it broke when I wasn't even on it. Then, before I cross a bridge, I hear footsteps. I turn around slowly and see a shadow of a figure.
"Human. Don't you know how to be polite to other people?" He puts out his hand to me. I shake it. Then, I hear a fart noise. I start to laugh. Then, I see he's a skeleton.
"That's a good one!" I say with tears of laughter coming down my face."
"Why thank you. I'm Sans by the way."
"Hi, I'm (y/n)."
