everything is blurry. i don't know where i'm going.
"whoops i'm sorry miss, do you need a hand?" a boy with long, heavenly blonde locks said as he extended his arm out to help me up.
"sure thank you." i slurred, and he somehow managed to understand me and lifted me off the ground.
"you don't look so well, would you like me to take you to get some food and water to be sobered up?" he asked.
"i feel great! i feel like i'm floating on a cloud, are you an angel?" I again slurred. again he somehow managed to understand me and laughed a bit. he lifted me off the ground and sat me on the curb. he then looked me in the eye and gave me a hug. i was totally taken back by his gesture but I hugged him back, as tight as he was holding me.
"i don't know if youre having a tough time at work or home or school or even if you're having a tough time, but i really hope you'll end up being okay. and hugs always help!" he smiled at his last sentence. everything is blurry but his smile was the only thing that wasn't. I decided to let me drive me around and he took me to a small diner not too far away from where he found me. The Viper Room.
I ordered pancakes and a juice at the diner. the boy with the heaven-like smile ordered a black coffee and blueberry muffin. the small waitress took out order and left us there to talk. the diner was small and empty, leaving the silence between the boy and I even more unbearable.
"well I haven't heard your name, mind givin' it to me?" I said.
"oh I'm sorry about that!! it's River" he told me.
"wow that's very unique. anyways hi River, I'm Grace" I smiled
