One month later...

"Cameron?" I called out and he said he was in the kitchen. "I need to talk to you." This is the perfect time to tell him- we were home alone.
He nodded and I took as seat next to him.

"I... I don't think I can do this anymore." He looked up from his phone, setting it down as I looked at the table. "Kristy, what do you mean?"  He sat there with a shocked expression.

"I want to go home." My voice cracked as I talked softly. "I want to be with mom." His eyes softened sadly. "You know she won't be there." I placed my hand on his shoulder. "In the phot- the memories."  He sighed and shook his head.

"That's not a good idea. Your underage.." I shook my head this time. "I'll be okay. I have her inheritance." I frowned and kissed my head and I saw his eyes water. "Why are you going?" I met his eyes with mine. (That sounds intimate wtf😂)

"It's hard out here, with the fans, friends, Hayes.." He wrapped his arms and told me it would be okay.

"My friend told me she would pick me up and take me home tomorrow at 11:00." I said, barely  over a whisper. He pulled away and looked down. "Kristy.. Plea-" I cut him off. "I have too. I won't last here." He wiped a read that fell from his eyes. "I'll miss you." I hugged him once more and went upstairs to pack.

It took an hour and I heard the door open. The sound of Hayes and Nash filled the house and they were asking Cameron what was wrong.

Minutes later Nash picked me up and put me in his room. He locked the door and frowned. "Your not allowed to leave Kristy! What's Hayes gonna do?" I rolled my eyes. "Exactly what he did before me." I cringed trying to push past him. Once he sighed and let me out I went back to my room to see Hayes staring at my bags.

"Why are you going?" His attention was on me, but he didn't look at me. "Hayes, I want you to move on. If we were meant for each other, we wouldn't be fighting like this. Things that happened, wouldn't have happened." I frowned sitting on the bed.

"When do you leave." He was talking low, painfully quiet. "Tomorrow morning." I saw a tear drop. "It won't be the same." His eyes finally met with mine as he shut the door, leaving the room.

The passion in his eyes was terrifying, but not scary. Terrifying because of how much he cares. Guilt rushed out of me and I tried to shake it out of my head.

Morning

Last night was the last time we were going to eat dinner. This is our last breakfast. My eyes were puffy as I went downstairs, just to see that everyone looks the same. "Look at us, look at you. And you still think this is the right decision." Hayes laughed sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and glared.

"I wouldn't have to go if you didn't ask my out." I had a sarcastic laugh of my own. "Oh really? Your blaming that I love you!" I rolled my eyes. "Really? Because I'm pretty sure there was a time when you loved Lauren. So do-" I was cut of by Cameron.

"She leaves in an hour and a half. Can we please just make this a good one." His voice was shaky and hoarse. I nodded as Nash dished out chocolate chip pancakes. I smiled and thanked him and I began to eat.

At exactly 11, Haley pulled up and knocked on the door. I opened it and hugged her. She waved to Cameron. "I hope your not to sad." She said light heartedly, although the only thing she earned from Cameron was a sad look.

She turned to me. "I don't think you should go. Look at you and your brother." I just shook my head and hugged Nash, and even Hayes. Then I turned to Cameron. I gave him the biggest hug I ever gave. "I'll miss you so much." I cried into his neck and I felt my shirt grow wet. "Call me every minute." I promised him and grabbed my stuff.

This is really it.  I sighed, waving by to them as I shut my car door. The car was silent for a bit until I decided to smile and turn on the music with Haley.

As much as I want to be happy, I can't shake off the guilt I had earlier.
