Well it's 1826. I's free na. I's done with all the pain. I's done being beat. I's done being told what to do by the white mane. Well at least I's thought I's was. It done been years since I's was a slave and I's aint neva thought my children would have to be slaves. I's found out my son was takin by a white mane. This mane tried to sell my son,my blood. I's put up a fight fa mine. I's was the first black woman to take a white mane to court. I's had to get back my baby cus we's done with all the beatings and the crying.
