Chapter 2: The Lake

It has been 4 months since Garroth left and Laurance and Aphmau have grown closer.

Laurance's POV:

Aphmau's calmed down. She's finally smiling again. It's been 4 months since Garroth's left and 2 months since Dante moved. I bet Kawaii~Chan's happy. He moved closer. It's around 10:00, we're just exploring the forest. I think this will be the best time to tell her.

"Uh, Aphmau?"

Aphmau's POV:

"Yes?"

Did he find something new? Katelyn went ahead since she doesn't like traveling in a group apparently so it can't be her...

Laurance's POV:

"I wanted to tell you... that I've always had feeling for you. Don't sway your feelings or anything towards me. If you like Garroth , even though... Anyways. Me and Garroth both like you, Aphmau... I promised that I wouldn't take you YET but Garroth's been gone for... a while now."

Aphmau's POV:

"Laurance..."

Oh my Irene... Is he serious?

"I-I just want to take things slow. I'm not ready to commit to a relationship. Being Lord keeps me busy enough. BUT I swear that I am thankful for all you've done for me and I don't take that for granted... Let's just... go check on Katelyn."

Yeah... I'm sorry Laurance and I am flattered that you like me, but I'm not ready for that yet. Don't make things harder for me.

Laurance's POV:

"I understand. It must be hard after everything you've had to go through."

That's fine. Atleast that means she's still coping without Garroth atleast.

Time skip! Aphmau's going to get married to a werewolf prince and Laurance is going to be executed! Surprise! Let's see the thoughts in between these moments!
