"You're sure about this?" Jake asked Ash in a brotherly manner.
"Surer than I've ever been," Ash replied with a smile.
"Alright, keep safe. Storm," I looked up and met Jake's eyes, "take care of him, he's a moron. Oh, and good luck," Jake laughed and waved goodbye to me as he hoped into the van. He shut the door and the van drove away.

"This feels so weird," I laughed.
"Why?" Ash asked me.
"You're usually in that farewell party. Leaving, and now you're still here, I don't know. It's going to take a while to get used to."
"Where are you staying, lover-boy?" Carys hit his arms playfully.
"With Storm and her Mum," Ash proclaimed proudly.
"Yeah, didn't you hear, I've got a new live-in maid," I joked.
"Oh no you didn't," Ash said like a teenage girl.
I laughed at his stupidity, and he threw me over his shoulder.

"Bye ladies!" Ash bowed extravagantly, balancing me precariously as he did so, then began walking towards my house.
"You suck," I said casually.
"Not particularly, I can if you want me to though," Ash retorted.
"Oh god, no," I laughed as I realised what he said.
I gripped his shirt tight, trying to balance, and buried my head into his back, trying to hide the red blush.

Ash put my down on the front doorstep and opened the front door for me.
"You're home!" Mum said happily, opening her arms for a hug.
I went to hug her, but was soon over taken by a blur of black, and my mother was soon embraced by Ash.
"Well, that was unexpected," I laughed as Ash let go of Mum.
"Hello to you too, son-in-law," Mum said casually.
I chocked on air and gave her a 'really mum?' look, slightly bewildered by the casual comment. Ash laughed and let her go, allowing me to hug her.
"What do you guys want for lunch?" Mum asked us both.
"Not hungry," I said simply, shaking my head.
Ash looked at me with one eyebrow raised, and I shrugged.
"I'm good too," Ahs smiled at the short, young woman.
"'Kay kids," Mum rolled her eyes and pulled out a frying pan.

"Let me give you the 'Grand Tour'," I grabbed Ash's hand.
"This is the lounge room," I pointed to the couches, "that's the kitchen, dining room, and outside is the dog," I pointed to the fluffy animal scratching on the glass to come in.
"Where am I staying?" Ash asked Mum.
She shrugged, "I don't know, you can stay on the couch if you want, or you can stay with Storm, but you guys better keep the door open!" Mum gave Ash a stern look, who nodded obediently with an angelic smile.
"Come on," I tugged Ash up the stairs behind me.

"This is the bathroom, the door on the end of the hall is a spare room filled with crap and a computer, the room across from the bathroom is Mum's," I pointed out each room.
"Where's your room?" Ash said quietly, right in my ear.
"Here," I dragged him into the door right in front of the top of the stairs.
The heavy drapes were still drawn, and everything I owned was strewn about messily.
"Where's my stuff going to go, you don't even have a floor," Ash joked.
"Well, you can help me clean it later, and you can have the floor," I joked, turning around and entwining my hands behind Ash's neck.
"Why not now?" he asked me.
"Well, we can if you really want to," I rolled my eyes and shrugged.
Ash shook his head, "No, I've got better things in mind," Ash reach behind him with his foot and closed the door, then closed the gap between us.

I met his lips with excitement, and I didn't let the kiss get any deeper than light and playful. His hair brushed my hands softly, and I felt the urge to play with it, so I let my left hand roam freely, twirling his hair between my fingers. Ash's hands remained on my waist, but I could feel his fingers twitching to move, but his uncertainty with where we stood relationship wise prevented him from actually making a move.
"You know, I'm supposed to be getting to know you better," I said, pulling away from Ash completely and sitting down on my bed.
"But, I was having more fun doing that," Ash pouted.
"I know, but we can't just make out all the time," I pointed out.
"We're not! But yes we can. We can totally just make out all the time, I am so fine with that," Ash joked, moving closer to me so he was standing directly in front of me.
I rolled backwards and moved up so I was lying flat in bed. I lifted the blanket and slid underneath, and Ash followed suit next to me.
