Hajime's POV

She's scary, yet beautiful...but forgetting how to smile, is sad. It's my mission to make Peko Pekoyama smile, not just for me, but for herself.

She told me to meet her at the beach, there we get to be alone. I need to get her to open up to me. Even if it takes me forever, I'll be happy to wait .

"Hajime..." i look at where the voice came from "oh Peko. What's up?", she looks a bit frustrated but looks to me "I've been trying but i fail every time. To smile even massaging my cheeks don't work". I look at her, and i touch her shoulder. Bad idea. "Hyaaaaa-yaa!!" she takes my arm and throws me on my back "Gah!!" i twitch "oh sorry. I thought you were gonna try something with me" she lets go and stood holding out her hand. I reach out and take it "nope. I was gonna tell you, I'll do everything in my power to help. Man you're strong!!" i rub my sore back, cracking it back to place.

~At the theater~

Peko's POV

In apologies of hurting Hajime,i allow him to take me to the movies. He said a certain movie should help me. "Want some popcorn?" i refuse, I'm not a fan of it and we head inside. While watching the movie i watch as the ridiculousness going on. I guess it was entertaining because Hajime was laughing in tears. Looking at his average face, seeing him laugh,it makes my mouth crack a small smile and turn back to the screen.

Walking out of the theater, i turn to Hajime "so did that movie make you laugh?" "no...", his head slumped over in defeat along with his antenna "but...seeing you laugh and enjoying yourself, made me smile a little". Hajime's cheeks heated up with a tint of pink "t-that's good! It's a start. Now, if you use that same feeling, you will smile in no time", nodding in agreement i bid my farewell and head to master's cabin.

Fuyuhiko's POV

"Where the hell have you been? And why do you smell like popcorn?" i crossed my arms as i look up at peko with a stern look. It wasn't like her to miss our Black jack night. "I was on a movie date with a friend", a vein popped on my head "Friend? Date? What date?! What the fuck are you saying to me right now?! Why didn't you say something damn it?!" i was in rage, and a hint if jealousy pained my heart. "With Hajime, he and i...are working on a project..." Peko's eye shifted to the side like she was hiding something more then that. "And, what the FUCK is this project you and the damned Bastard are planning?", "i can't tell you that."

Ding dong ding ding

"It is now 10pm, please return to your cabins because it is bed time. Sweet dreams"

"Young master,you should rest. We will play black jack tomorrow, i promise" she stood up and headed out the door. I grabbed her hand and stopped her "We are not fucking done here!! What's this secret you can't tell me? Do you even like him?!!" , my hands trembled in fear, sadness and anger. Then what she said broke me more "that is irrelevant for a tool as myself to feel. I am and always will be masters tool, nothing more" then she slipped from my grasp closing the door.

"DAMMIT!!" hitting the door i shake and tremble, hot tears flowed out of my eyes "dammit....you are not a tool ...damn bastard...peko. Why do you look at me like I'm nothing but a heartless bastard?!" i hit the door over and over until my knuckle bled. I look at the damage and start to laugh "Hajime...I'm gonna kill you..."

~The next day~

"Yo bastard!" i walk up to Hajime as i arrive to the Restaurant before peko did "hey fuyuhiko ", "cut the bullshit act!" i yell out, others stare at us and i grab his collar pulling him close. I strained a smile on my face "a little birdy told me that they saw you and Peko going to the movies together , is that true?", he blushed, his reaction made me ball my fists in anger but i calmed down. "Well?", "it's not actually a date...i was just doing her a favor.." scratching the back of his head he laughed nervously.
