1 week to impact
Cassandra
My name is Cassandra, want to know my family name? Too bad, it's classified. Want to know my address? Phone number? Hah! Still classified. What i can tell you is that i live in Canada. What province? HAH STILL CLASSIFIED. Okay I'm joking, I live in Montreal, Quebec. So you can guess what timezone i am in, to further aid you. I'm not an expert with time. I'm a fourteen years old, curly red haired nerd. Yes, I'm a nerd, and not afraid to admit it. That's why I'm watching tons of documentaries on Netflix at the moment.
My mother comes into the room. I only notice her when she sits next to me and asks to put the volume and turn off the headphones. I should have known, she loves dolphin documentaries. I obey without question, i love passing quality family time. Yes, this is the whole family, my father died in the war years ago. No, don't feel sorry, i hate when people feel sorry for me. "Cassandra? Did you hear about the meteor shower scheduled to arrive in a week?" Asks my mother. I shake my head, I'm not a big fan of the sky, I'm more of a animal nerd. But my best friend is a big fan of meteors, and his dog broke his television last week, so i guess i'll give him a call. When I'm done with the documentary that is!
11:45 am
I dial in the phone number. Curious about it aren't you? Too bad, his phone is as classified as mine, not my decision, our parents don't want us to share personal information with strangers. I curl my long hair with my fingers as the phone rings once... twice... three times. Then someone answers. "Hello?" Asks the voice, who i instantly recognize as my friend Shane. "Hey Shane, It's me, Cassandra!" There was a moment of silence. "Oh hey! So there must be a reason for your call right?" He asks. I giggle. "You know me too well, yeah, so... i heard you like meteors?" I ask in a mocking tone. "Uh huh" He tried to sound serious, but even through the phone, i could pick up the amusement and curiosity in his voice. "Meteor shower, a week from now, interested in going down to the field?" I ask. No, it's not a date invitation, we're just friends. "Yeah sure, my parents are out for a week on Sunday so i have tons of time, if you don't mind that i bring the dog." Shane answered. "Okay, see you then, i got to run at the moment, the parrot's trying to bite the tail off my cat!"

Trinity
My name is Trinity, but you already know that now do you? I'm orphaned, so i live with my cousin. He and me are like twins, we have the same interest, same hair color, same favorite movies. We are even in the same class at school. The only difference is that... well... he's a boy and is rather athletic compared to me... We are still both nerds. Nerds of everything, animals, plants, space, fictional characters, video games... You name it! His name is Genesis. I know, we both have weird names, not our fault. So here we are, sitting on opposite ends of the couch, watching the news about that meteor shower that i'm sure you already know about by now. "I am breifly remembered of Battle : Las Angeles" My cousin declares. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Genesis smiled, happy about his joke. "Imagine if there is some kind of cloaked Alien spaceship in the meteor shower" I joked. "Haha! Don't jinx the planet now!" He replied. We both get into a discussion about alien science-fiction movies for a while.
1:30 pm
I take out my laptop. I know it's mine because Genesis's one is red, and he has it on the table, in the dining room while I'm still in the living room with my blue one. I open up Msn, it's the only thing i use to chat, everything else is no private enough. A noise makes me jump, and makes Genesis laugh of my reaction. I push my medium lenght platinum blonde hair from my face and click on the icon that poped up when the noise played. Leechflight is online. I don't know her real name, but that's her user name, mine is ImagineArt. She posts a message; Hi!
ImagineArt: Oh hey, you made me jump :P
Leechflight: lol i just finished giving the cat new bandages, he nearly clawed my face off.
ImagineArt: yikes, how is he?
Leechflight:Better tha last week, he can actually walk on it now.
She posts a photo of her black cat, his right front leg covered in bandages. I couldn't help but notice the green bird out of focus in the background who seemed to be mocking the cat.
ImagineArt: Thats good. and what about that bird?
Leechflight: Eh, she's an idiotic Green Parrot, don't worry abot her. so, how's your mechanical clas going?
ImagineArt: Good, it gets anoyying to work during summer, but hey, its fun to do something difrent than my cousin for a change.
Leechflight: ah, if i remember correcly he is in a soccer team right?
ImagineArt: Right.
Leechflight: I g2g eat dinner, cya later ;)
ImagineArt: Kay, bye :3
I minimize Msn to go on the Internet, you know, play Minecraft, check Deviantart and Exhibited. Regular stuff.
Genesis
With my cousin busy chatting or doing whatever she's doing, i can't help but go on google and check out that meteor shower. According to NASA, or whatever else watches stuff like that, the shower should last four days, reaching it's peak the 14th. Also known as in exactly a week. I'm exited a bit, i never seen a meteor shower last that long. Probably remains of asteroids caught by Mars, then by Earth. I'm just guessing here, not really important. What does interest me is the fact that the meteors come from an area where nothing could have gone, Mars's and Venus's gravity couldn't have brought it there, and if it a chunk of asteroids, they would have noticed it alot sooner.
-It seemed to have apeared out of nowhere. Said a reporter.
-One minute there was nothing, then there was hundreds of tiny meteors, amongst a few larger ones. Said another
-The number of meteors seem to be rising as we speak, as if more are appearing. Said a scientist.
Now this is really starting to creep me out. "Trinity, come here a sec!" I call my cousin. She's quick to come, even thought she isn't athletic. "Yes?" She asks. "Read this."I turn the laptop towards her. She reads rather slowly compared t how she reads usually.(I can tell by her eyes) When she's done, she looks up at me. "That's plain creepy, I'm going to watch that meteor shower every day that i can" She declared. I nod slowly. "I'm curious about this!"
