[HER POV]
Swinging my legs off my bed, I stretched and got up. I'm amazed that I managed to sleep in my bed last night, unlike the couch, usually.
After a quick shower, I grabbed my favourite navy blue hoodie and wore it over my white tank top. Pulling the hood so that it covers my face partially, I grabbed my bag pack and head out.
I don't usually eat breakfast. I will wait until my part-time job at the restaurant in town to get actual food. "And that will be in another 7 hours," I thought to myself as I picked an apple from an apple tree that grows in the forest.
"Yup, that's sweet," I mumbled to myself as I took a bite out of the apple. "I'd better get going," I turned around and ran all the way to school.
My father and brother were drunk as hell and were all passed out somewhere in the house. I'm glad I didn't have to make food for them. I'm sure they could manage..

I pulled my hoodie even tighter around myself as I set foot into the school. I'm the invincible kid in this school. Nobody talks to me and nobody wants to do anything with me.
Mostly because I shut myself away from them. Moreover, they are afraid of my brother. The notorious drug addict.
At first, they would all fear me. Fear turned to ignorance and in the end, I'm completely out of their mind, out of their sight.
Wearing my red converse highs, I walked quickly into my class and sat at my seat, avoiding eye contact with anyone. Which was pretty easy as I don't draw attention to myself. I'm always quiet, at the back of the class, doing my thing.
Thus, nobody talks to me. Or so I believe..
"You're early today," said a guy wearing a black cap and white shirt with navy blue jeans as he crashed into the empty spot next to me.
"Why are you wearing glasses today?" I mumbled, in a hushed tone.
"These?" he gestured to his black glasses. "I'm short-sighted except that I usually wore lenses. Today, I'm in a rush so I just grabbed my glasses," he answered before he ripped his bag open and took out his calculus books.
Kim Namjoon. He is the smart boy in school. He is always the number 1 student in school. I don't remember why but he is the only one that talks to me. And, he talks to no one except me.
When everyone feared me, he was the only one that dares to approach me, even if it is just a simple figure of speech. I remember then...
"Hey, do you have an extra pencil?"
"Umm, yeah"
"Can you lend it to me? I forgot to bring mine,"
"Here..."
"Thanks!"
