Darling, you are not ugly
You have trained your eyes
To only see the bad in yourself
And only the good in others

You have never seen
How your eyes light up as you laugh
Or how you hold on to your oldest
Teddy bear tightly as you sleep

You only can see
The way your hair is "too thick"
And your skin is "to pale"
And that your thighs are "too big"

If anything,
Darling,
You are
Too beautiful
