Forever? (A Spoby Story)

Chapter 3

*Spencer's POV*

The bell rang about five minutes ago and now I'm just waiting for Lily to appear at my class so we can leave. I miss her in my class. She's so grown up.

I start to correct the homework that my class had given me today when Lily skips into my class.

"Hello," she squeaks. I laugh at her enthusiasm and start to tidy up.

"Hey, how was school?" I ask as she sits down at one of my students desks.

"Goooooooodd," she says with a cheeky smile on her face.

"What happened?" I asked, grabbing my bag. Lily gets up and skips over to my side and takes my hand.

"I have a boyfriend," she giggles. I stop walking and look down at her. Her cheeks are all blushed and she looks at me with a confused look.

"So, is this boy nice?" I ask, continuing to walk out of the school. She takes my hand again.

"Yep," she says, popping the p. I can't believe she has a 'boyfriend' at 7.

"So, is it serious?" I ask, playing along. She starts to skip, still holding my hand, so she can keep up with me.

"He says he should get married," she squeaks.

"No way," I breath, laughing to myself. "Wait till your dad heard about this." I chuckle.

"He will like him, I know he will," she says, looking up.

We finally get to my car and I put her in her car seat before getting into the drivers seat.

"Do you have your seat belt on?" I check. I look in the mirror so I can see her and she gives me a sharp nod. "Let go!" I cheer. She giggle at my enthusiasm and I start laughing as well, her laugh is so infectious.

"We're home!" I cheer when we reach Toby's house. It's weird calling his house home but I've been spending almost every night at his since I got back.

"Yayyyy." She cheers, taking her seatbelt off and jumping of the car seat.

I quickly jump out of the car and open her door. She runs along the path and waits for me to open the door.

"Daddy!" She shouts when we enter the house. I hear him chuckle from upstairs.

"Coming!" He shouts.

*Toby's POV*

I was just preparing myself for my date with Spencer when I hear Lily shout from downstairs. I laugh a little at all her energy.

"Coming!" I shout.

I quickly take the ring out of my jacket pocket and look at it. It's perfect. I just hope Spencer will like it.

I've saved up for a while to get her this ring. It has a small diamond in the middle and in the inside of the ring it has our initials engraved into it.

I take a deep breath before closing the delicate black box back over and placing it back in my jacket pocket.

Let's just hope she says yes.

*Spencer's POV*

"I'm going to my uncle Darren's tonight," Lily tells me as she sits in the couch.

"Is uncle Darren your favourite?" I ask to keep the conversation going.

"Uh huh," she nods her head. "Uncle Darren has a little boy called Josh," she explains.

"Does Josh go to your school?"

"No, but I see him a lot," she says, her eyes never leaving the tv.

I hear Toby come down the stairs and I quietly get up, trying not to disturb Lily.

I walk into the kitchen to see Toby standing with his back leaning against the work top.

"Hey," I say, walking up to him.

"How was work?"

"Good," I answer before lightly kissing him on the lips. Just as I pull away he pulls me closer with his hands and connects our lips again.

"I missed these lips," he whispers into my lips.

"Mmhmm," I mumbles before kissing him again. The kiss is soft and slow but passionate. I put my hands into his hair and tug lightly.

"Mmmm," he moans. I pull away gently and slowly open my eyes. He's smiling at me. "If Lily wasn't in the next room I would-,"

"Don't finish that sentence," I demand, cutting him off. He laughs, pulling me into a warm hug.

"Well you know what I'm thinking," he smiles. I just sigh into his chest and hug him tighter.

"I do," I laugh. I can't help think how lucky I am to have him. I love him so much and I know he feels the same way.

"Hugs!" Lily cheers before running up to Toby. Toby lifts her up to his side and I take one of my arms away from around him so she can squeeze in.

"I love both my girls, so much," he whispers to us. I feel my stomach start to get the butterflies when he says that. Lily giggles quietly.

"I love you all too," Lily whispers, making my heart leap.

I thought I would just give you a really cute chapter cause I was bored after school.

So, what do you think Toby is planning? It's not hard to guess 😂

I loved writing this chapter cause it's so damn cute, omg!!! I can't wait till Spoby have a kid in the show cause I will literally cry.
