Chapter 11

Dionte POV

Um he-hey Tyraia. (I stood there awkwardly not ready to face my ex after all these years.)

Her: Hey Dionte. How are you?

Me: I'm good what brings you here? Not to be rude or anything but I haven't seen you in about 5 years.

Well I'm going to get some snacks and drinks I wasn't expecting you to be here.

Tyraia and I: Okay

Her: So yeah well I moved back to Virginia about 3 months ago.

Me: Okay cool.

Tyraia POV

Wow Dionte cleaned up quite nicely. Hopefully no one has snatched him up yet so I can have him again. I thought to myself.

Me: Sooooo Don no girlfriend?

Him: Actually I do. Her name is Renee we've been together for a few years now.

Oh okay (looking down and playing with her fingers)

I'm baaaaaack. Ms. Shirley's voice sang coming out if the kitchen. She came in with lays chips and coke. So did you guys have a nice conversation? Ms. Shirley asked.

Yup we both said

Okay wel- (gco by a knock on the door)

She goes to open the door and it was some girl. I couldn't exactly see who it was but Ms. Shirley's face lit up as well as Dionte's when they saw who it was.

Dionte: Hey baby. I wasn't expecting to see you here.

Unknown girl: well I just decided to stop by so I could see your mom also.

While they conversed I just sat there and decided not to say anything unto Ms. Shirley decided to introduce me.

Ms. Shirley: Reneè this is Tyraia, Tyraia this is Renée Dionte's girlfriend.

We shook hands greeting eachother. Nice to meet you Tyraia Reneè said nicely. Nice to meet you too I said back with a fake smile.

Reneè POV

This chick Ty-- whatever her name is keeps cutting her damn eyes at me. If I wasn't a young lady I would've been jumped over the sofa and smacked that hoe.

So.... I have somethings I need to discuss with you guys I said referring to Dionte and Ms. Shirley. Tyraia decided to take that as her que to leave.

Okay Don and Ms. Shirley I'll see you guys later. She said hugging then. Bye Reneè she said with a very noticeable fake smile.

Bye. I said coldly. Anyways I said rolling my eyes as you know I went to go see Antonio and everyone else and while I was there they told me that it was financial problems going on and they're going to be getting evicted very soon. I told them that I was going to check and see if it was okay with you that we..... We what? Dionte asked curious. Took him in for a while just until they get themselves together.

Dionte POV

Is she like dead ass? (I thought to myself) Reneè we are not ready for a child. Hell we're not even ready to raise someone else's child at that.

YOU'RE not ready to raise a child. YOU'RE not ready for a child. Dionte just because you're not ready for something doesn't mean I'm not ready. Besides he's not anyone's child it's my brothers son. She said

I had no come back because she was right I wasn't ready for a child im still young. But it's my girlfriends choice at the end of the day and I would do anything in my power to make sure she's good.

Really!? She asked with so much joy in her voice.

Yes really. Just give me a week so I can get his bed and some things for him.

Awwwe thank you baby she said walking up and kissing me. For a second I forgot my mom was right there until she cleared her throat.

Mmhmm.... oh sorry ma but are you okay with the decision we made?

Her: Boy yall are grown and yall are responsible so if you feel as though doing whatever you can to make sure baby boy is alright then so be it just make sure you bring him over to see me sometimes.

Of course ma anytime. But we should really get going. I said grabbing my things and giving my mom a hug and kiss.

Alright mom I love you and I'll see you later. Reneè said. We left the house and made our way to the cars this was going to be a long way home with all the thoughts running through my mind.
