Chapter 6

Hello! I'm so sorry for short chapters and hardly being active. I feel so bad. I have exams going on at the moment so I've been studying a lot. I will update as much as I can! Anyway here's the chapter-

Adrien Pov

My hand accidentally brushed marienette's she seemed to be mentally slapping herself where as I decided to brush it off with a shrug.

"S-sorry" she cringed blushing a deep red.
"It's okay" I smiled.
Marrienette glanced at Alya and Alya gave her a thumbs up.
"Y-yeah okay" she looked at the floor shyly.
There was an awkward silence, well apart from the sound of Nino stuffing his face. Alya kept giving disapproving looks in His direction.
We carried on eating when Alya spoke up.
"Well it's getting late and I'm under curfew!" She said.
"Ok" replied Nino using his usual care free tone of voice.
"Nino!!" Hissed Alya.
"Oh um yeah I will walk er you bck I guess?" He carefully replied.
"Whatever" retorted Alya. Marionette giggled at the two arguing. I love the way we eyes light up wen she smiles.
Ok maybe I do have a tiny thing for marrienete but it's just a small crush. And by small I mean minuscule.
Nino and Alya got up to leave,shaking the crumbs of of their laps they started to walk away hurriedly.
"So..." I started
"So..." She retorted.
"Nice weather?" I started
"You serious?" She giggled
"I just can't think of anything to say" I smiled sheepishly.
She blushed and tried to hide her blush with her hands.
"She's so cute" I thought. At that thought a faint blush appeared on my cheeks.
"-en Adrien?!" Marrienete called "a-are you o-okay? Y-you seemed d-distracted?" She stuttered quietly.
"Sorry just lost in thought I suppose" I chose my words carefully.
We sat in silence for a while. It wasn't an awkward silence, more like a quiet peaceful silence.

Marrienete's Pov

He was so calm, I was literally freaking out inside.
"He acted like he did this every day, your so stupid marrienete of course he does he's a model idiot!!" I thought, mentally cursing myself.
"Are you alright??" Asked Adrien.
"Awe he's so caring!!" I thought dreamily.
Sighing I replied "yeah I'm fine" I smiled shyly.
Can I ask you something Mari?" He asked
"Mari?" I questioned
"Yes...is there something wrong with that name?" He questioned.
"Yes- I er mean no. no nothing's wrong. Is it wrong...I'm not wrong haha!!" I blathered awkwardly
I heard a small giggle from my purse.
"TIKI!!" I yelled inside my mind.
"Did you hear something?" Adrien answered looking around absent mindedly.
"Er no?" I lied.
He shrugged and turned back around to face me. The sun was setting an it was so pretty.
He was staring into my eyes. I felt nervous.
"What is happening to me, keep your cool marrienete! Don't mess this up. Crap I can't do this!" I thought.
He leaned in closer.

Just as he was leaning in closer my cellphone rang. The top charts song started blasting out of my phone!
"Damnit!" I cursed under my breath.
"It's my mom!" I explained "I better be going!" I rushed.
"It's okay" he assured me, I will walk you home!"
We gathered up our stuff and started walking.
